- 5000K DAYLIGHT SMOOTH TRIM RETROFIT. The Sunco 5/6 Inch Smooth LED Retrofit Downlight delivers 965 lumens of 5000K Daylight overhead light through a smooth, open-face trim profile. The smooth trim puts the full lumen output into spaces where maximum visibility is the priority, without the absorption loss that stepped baffle designs introduce. Garages, workshops, kitchens, and bright task areas benefit from overhead lighting that shows true colors, material types, and surface conditions clearly. Compatible with most LED dimmers for brightness control.
- MAXIMUM LIGHT OUTPUT. These recessed LED lights deliver consistent, flicker-free CRI 80+ output across 50,000 rated hours. Smooth trim at 5000K Daylight means no stepped baffle reduces the overhead output and no warm color cast affects color discrimination tasks. Tool markings, material colors, and food preparation surfaces all appear clearly and accurately.
- RETROFIT INSTALLATION IN STANDARD 5 AND 6 INCH CANS. The included TP24 to E26 adapter and spring clips connect to any standard 5 or 6 inch recessed can housing. No rewiring, no housing replacement, and no modification to the existing ceiling opening required. The smooth downlight clips flush with the ceiling for a professional finish in garages, kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms.
- DIMMABLE, DAMP RATED, 50,000-HOUR LIFESPAN. Smooth, flicker-free dimming at all brightness levels. Damp rated for indoor use in bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms. Rated for 50,000 hours of reliable operation, approximately 45 years at 3 hours of daily use. Operating range: -4F to 104F.
- UL LISTED, FCC CERTIFIED, ROHS COMPLIANT. UL listed for safety and code compliance. FCC certified and RoHS compliant. Damp rated for moisture-prone indoor spaces. Rated for 50,000 hours of low-maintenance performance.

Bright Light, Easy Installation
Color: 5000K Daylight
I purchased these lights to replace the standard lights in the kitchen and laundry room. I was amazed how bright they are. The old lights were warm white and I got the daylight LED lights. I didn't realize how "yellow" the room looked with the warm white lights until I installed the daylight ones. These provide a much more whiter, brighter look to the room. Since my wife bakes and decorates cakes, these lights will certainly assist in insuring that she gets true to color decorations with this color of lighting compared to the warm white. I had two problems with the lights. One did not work initially. I removed it from the socket, re-inserted it and it work. the second problem was that the wires came loose from the connector on one light. The wires were easy to insert back into the connector and the problem was solved. Installation was fast and easy once I figured it out. I had a total of seventeen lights. Removing the old lights and trim, unpacking the new lights and installation (and problem solving) took me about 45 minutes for all seventeen lights.

Bought these to replace our fluorescent can lights
Color: 5000K Daylight
My wife has really been struggling with her eyes and has been asking for me to replace the county mandated fluorescents in our kitchen and bathrooms. I didn't realize how much fluorescents sucked until I installed these. Since my fluorescents were the four-pin style I had to modify the wiring by basically gutting the can (cut all wiring going to the ballast), cutting the ends off the new fixture (these were the screw in style) and wiring it directly to the hot and neutral. The first light took about 20 mins to get it all figured out and after that it was a breeze. Only two things to really complain about: 1. I bought the daylight style and holy carp - It's daylight!!! After the fact we really would like to have a softer light but we're not worried about it right now. If I get a chance I will post a pic of how intense it really is. 2. One of the fixtures didn't work but I'm not sure that I didn't cause it. All in all we are very happy with the results and definitely can't complain about the cost (12 LED's for $100). Hope that helps - Cheers
