    • Worked as I wanted it and very good app needs updating.
Works great app needs updated so works on iPad would recommend beautifully cause if there’s no Internet there you can’t turn them on or off these ones with Bluetooth you can turn them on or off with any device with Bluetooth easy to install. I ain’t no electrician very easy.

These lights came as advertised. The connection boxes are a little thing and the knockout for the 1/2 connectors to secure your wire wasn't punctured enough to get them out easily. They were easy to setup, one problem I have is the share QR code it doesn't send us to a correct site to share them with another person in the house. You can only have one person on the app. So without sharing it, it does limit who can use it. It is a good value for the price. The media could not be loaded. I'm planning on using these as primary in ceiling lighting in a multizone project. I examined one closely and wired another up to play with. The iphone app seems decent enough, I will not have an alexa device involved and from what I have read here and elsewhere siri and the iphone app can control them with voice and I also think and or remotely over the internet but I'm not sure. I am planning on setting these lights up on switch legs. I have not made groups, scenes, etc but did want to mention that you can rename the lights individually for easier identification when making groups or patterns The 1000lm light is decenlty bright and the colors look great The light housing is plastic and feels built well The light face and trim ring are 4" in dia and housing will require a 3-1/2" hole saw. Tye light housing depth will require 1-1/4" behind the ceiling face and junction box is only 1-1/4" thick - are both smaller than I thought they would be based on the listed dimensions Inside the junction box are 3 push to connect splicers for ground neutral and hot and those splices have 2 open spots each and 3/4 knockouts in the box so you can daisy chain multiple units on the same wire run. There is also a plastic housing with a pcb but is no circutry on the pcb, it's just to secure the all the wires. When I unplug the light it will return to whatever it was doing, so if the light was off in the app then when power is restores it will stay off. of it was on and blue then on and blue, etc. Not all smart lights react the same way in a power loss/restore, so this was important for me to know for my application. I am installing wall switches for local control without the app ... show more
