The fixtures have numerous exciting features and are so easy to install. They carry a 7 year warranty and are suitable for damp (not wet) locations. Due to their low current draw, they can be installed against flammable materials. A template and complete, clear, and concise instructions are provided in standard written English. In many ceiling installations, these may be fully installed from the interior side. Be mindful that all dimmers are not supported and installation must conform to electrical code; however, there are no exposed metal parts so no ground is required. Everything necessary for an quick installation is included. A list of suitable dimmers is provided with further information available online. Solid dense construction with strong holding springs. Super simple and intuitive installation. Five downward colors to choose from, and adjustment is very easy. Regular down lights look great and dim beautifully, and the nightlight function is really neat--makes the place look like a spaceship at night. Drawbacks are few, but could have been easily corrected, so it costs a review star for being a little cheap. Gasket/ceiling pad is too thin and isn't fixed in position, so it moves out of alignment when the springs pull into the ceiling. Makes it hang out around the edge. The junction box for each unit is too thin and borders on flimsy; not what most people want with electricity boxes. Finally, the twist caps provided are perfect for one 14 gauge wire and the line for the light, but too small for two 14 gauge wires necessary for stringing multiple lights in a series on the circuit. Had to use my own to do it right. Just seems odd to make such a great light fixture and then scrimp on these little things. Really good overall, would definitely recommend at this price point. Besides, individual replacement when the time comes will be a snap with the way these things plug in and it of the box. ... show more

FIRST, THE BOX IS PLASTIC UNLIKE THE OTHER BRANDS WHICH ARE METAL SECOND, THE SIDE CLIPS THAT HOLD THE LIGHT IN THE CEILING, THE ENDS CAME OFF DURING THE INSTALLATION. THIRD, THE LIGHTS FLICKER WHEN THEY ARE DIMMED. I CHANGED OUT MY DIMMER SWITCH AND THAT STILL DIDN'T HELP THE FLICKERING. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS ITEM. ... show more

My husband (aka my carpenter) said it was nice to not have to worry about finding studs, making them very easy and quick to install.     • The dimmable night lights look cool but installation can be hard

The color temperatures are selectable. The dimmable night light mode is what I like most. But the installation into a recessed can is not possible. The junction boxes are quite large to handle in my situation. Canless installation is the only choice.

A very flexible light; a range of light color and by manipulating the light switch the light can be normal or a night light. There are multiple places in my home that these can be used; so having four is nice too. Install is pretty easy.
