I love these lights. I was replacing a toilet in one of the bathrooms and decided to update the lights and bought some from a big orange box store for 3 times the price of these. After thinking about it I decided to replace all the light fixtures in the house so I ordered 2 of these and 2 of another brand with the blue night light. I have to say for the price they are 10x better than the big box store ones. I will admit both on at once is super bright and I couldn’t use the 6k range of color, it was blinding. I was a little confused on how the night light worked, but basically: Filck switch: on Off switch off 2nd flick switch: night light Sometimes they don’t sync and one is on normal and the other is on nightlight. I actually prefer this at night when I’m getting ready for bed. It’s easy to reset them thought. It comes with so much extra hardware so bonus cause I didn’t need it and I got to use it for other projects. As you notice I have popcorn ceilings ( I hate them) WARNING!!!! If you have them you will have to scrape it off to get this to mount. Horrible mess and now I just gotta do the whole ceiling. No a deal breaker, I just wasn’t ready for that project. Wow, do these come with a Lot of parts? This has so many different ways for mounting. It’s unbelievable.. Definitely look at the instruction book to see which application you are going to use. It did take me few minutes to get the regular configuration correct as this unit has a braided cord around the wiring so if you are using a standard box style wiring, this will insert in the round hole as these need to be flush to the ceiling. Now with that said. The lighting fantastic. It is bright. And the night light feature is great. I have a toggle switch style light switch. To make the light work you must. Turned it on once, and it’s the night light.(quickly) Turn it off and turn it on again and it’s light. I absolutely love it. Two for the price of one packaging, great value. These are two 13" LED Flush Mount Ceiling Lights which comes with literally all the accessories that are needed for 6 different types of installations. It also comes with cutout template with different sizes for a new installation and a manual which explains in detail about steps to perform the 6 different types of mount that you can set it up with. I replaced a tube light fixture with these and had only the wires coming out of the ceiling without a junction box. So the installation was a bit tricky in my case, wherein I had to cut out a bit of the ceiling to make room for the wire connectors, as there isn't enough space between the mount plates and the light itself. But if you have a retrofit mount, or a junction box or just a cutout for a new installation, you should not have this problem. We installed these in our closets and decided to use 6500K which was bright for us. But you have 5 different options to choose from and the switch is on the back of the light. Unless and until you don't want to change the settings very often, you wouldn't have a problem but if you do, it can be a hassle to remove it and change the switch every time. Personally, I liked the night light as it gives a soothing effect and increases the ambience of the place. The fact that it turns off the main light and only uses the LEDs on the trim feels like you have your own little lunar eclipse at home. Overall, these are decent lights to be used in your family room, bedroom, hallway, living room, or common areas in your home or office. Its optimally priced for a pack of two.
