  • Great value and looks fanatic
This is a fantastic storage shed for the price. It looks great and was fairly easy to build. I was a little concerned that 7’x7’ wouldn’t be enough space but am amazed at how much it holds. I built a platform inside the shed so I can put my mower and power generator below the platform and then use the space above for additional storage. A few suggestions prior building the shed: 1. Remove the directions a couple days ahead of time and familiarize yourself with the process. You’ll need a level and rigid surface for the shed. The directions provide a materials list for building a wood platform, you’ll need to pickup the materials at your local lumber yard. It was less than $100. 2) The hardware comes in plastic bags that have a part number but the directions use a two letter reference such as MM. The directions have a page that cross references the part number with the two letter code but it was time consuming flipping between pages until we figured out we could just use a sharpie to mark the plastic bags with the two letter code. I’m surprised the manufacture hasn’t done that. 3) Study how to attach the roof cap carefully. I partially attached it and then realized I had not properly inserted the end into the Ridge clips. It was easy to correct and a bit frustrating but not a big deal. All-in-all I think you’ll be happy with the shed! ... show more

  • A little difficult to assemble, but good quality.

  • Easy to assemble shed
Make sure you have a good, flat base. Assembling the shed was not too difficult, even though I did it alone (aged 75). I found one screw hole that was too narrow for the screw, but that wasn’t a big problem. The kit had twice as many of the primary screws as necessary, which was excellent. Everything lined up to allow the lock to fit a padlock. The only minor issue would be that even with the skylights, it is quite dark inside. Well worth the price. ... show more

  • You simply should get more - since they dropped the price 250 right after mine was delivered.
Likes: 1. Assembly was a breeze. * Took a 73 year old man under 7 hours to assemble. * It can be (essentially) assembled by one person. ** Neighbor came by to lean on walls from outside, while I turned huge plastic screws from the inside, otherwise, it was a solo performance. 2. Quality of parts and how they fit were quite good. * Parts lined up without much issue Dislikes: 1. Sketches were extremely difficult to interpret. (Think of church stain-glass windows that are all clear, no color. Line art - I know Mother Mary is in there somewhere.) 2. Resulting structure is rather tacky - not all that great to look at. (Mine is situated close to the house and ain't doing it any favors.) For the money, you should a better looking shed - with some color, some style. The "like" list is not a "love" list. * The walls assemble quite quickly but have a kind of a flimsy accordion effect when done, for example. * It definitely does not elicit confidence that it will last maybe ?10 years? ... show more

  • Sturdy shed from a trusted company
The media could not be loaded. We recently moved our fence out and had just enough space for a shed. I started the search and immediately knew I wanted to stick with Suncast because we have several of their deck boxes that have lasted for years. This shed was the perfect size for our new space, but be warned, the way you assemble it, I recommend having move space all around the shed or you'll have to get creative (like me!) when it comes to clipping the main pieces together. I assembled this pretty much by myself, my husband helped a few times when necessary. It did take about 5 hrs. I was missing the screens, but contacted the seller and they sent them right away. The instructions were annoying because each bag had a number and the items inside were different numbers. Therefore when the instructions said find F5, I had to flip to the first page of the instructions to see that f5 was in bag 18372. The construction is very sturdy once assembled. You will need a good base, the flooring is not enough. We had a concrete pad. Everything aligned seemlessly and I had no issues with installation. Hoping this shed will stand the test of time the same way the deck boxes have! ... show more

  • Quality, directions, price!
I absolutely love my shed, took longer to build than expected but I'm kind of a perfectionist so that might account for some of it. Directions were very clear and I loved the quality control portion (no missing parts). It looks great, I added some spray foam to fill Amy gaps to eliminate bugs from crawling in and we do have our bugs here in Florida. I also really love that this shed will never rust and as long as you anchor it down it won't go anywhere. It's held up great with no leaks after many storms so far. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Would buy again.
Excellent building. Would buy again. I am a 65 year old woman and I did it in two days, by myself. It's not hard if you use the instructions on youtube.

  • Not the worst piece of garbage I've ever owned.
I had two handymen put this together for me; it took then about 12 hours in total because the instructions were so terrible, things didn't fit together properly, parts were missing, etc. They finally got it together. It's ok, certainly not as sturdy as I had hoped it would be. It also looks like some of the seams aren't as snugly fit together as they should be, including the floor. I am a bit worried that it's not going to be watertight. When it gets warm enough, I am going to seal everything with silicone. The size is perfect and although it's plain and boring, it's not a complete eyesore. Regardless, I'll repaint it to give it a bit more style. In short, do I love it? Absolutely not. Do I hate it? No. Would I replace it if I could? 100%. Would I recommend it to someone else? He!! no. Sidenote: Two of the missing parts are the screens for the vents. I'm not going to bother calling the company for replacement parts. I can use old screens I have in the garage. My problem is, even if the actual parts were there, how do then prevent rain and moisture from getting in? The vents aren't under an overhang, there is no protection at all. If the sprinkler hits it, water will get in. Rain certainly will. This seems like a huge design flaw. I am still working out how to remedy that situation. Save yourself the irritation and buy something better. ... show more
