  • Great capo - works well
Color: Bronze
This is a well-built capo. It has a strong spring action, but it's easy to attach. It holds well.

  • Gorgeous, well made capo!
Color: Gold Satin
I bought this to match my new guitar and it’s heavy, sturdy and works very well. My husband commented on how nice it is, compared to his cheaper version. Stop scrolling and buy this! You will not regret it!

  • Simple and Great!
Color: Black Satin
I have tried a number of capos, and have liked some....disliked some. My major dislike is that sometimes the bulkiness of the construction itself. This Ernie Ball Axis Dual Radias capo is the best clamp on I've ever used. Why? The design is sleek, and it stays out of the way. Does a capo really get in your way, you ask? Well....not so much up around the first few frets, but when you get into the more narrow area of say the 7th through the 9th fret....there is not as much space to move around when you are working right up against the capo. This one is sleek and smooth and doesn't hinder your efforts. The ability to flip it over and use either axis to get a perfect result is useful as well. I use it mostly on my acoustics, but have also had great results on my G&Ls, Gibsons and Fenders. The pressure is just right to hold tight and stay right where you put it even under some strong bends. It also has the width and strength to handle my Taylor 12 string. For the price point, you will not do any better! ... show more

  • Works well on flat fretboard.
Color: Black Satin
This is my backup capo that I usually loan to other players in our session. My long time 1st choice in the Dunlop flat strap elastic capo. Both work well but I am able to slide the elastic capo up and down the neck without removing it. Probably not a great idea but it's worked for me for the past 50 plus years. Keep pickin'. ... show more

  • Slick handles
Color: Black Satin
Just recently bought and used a short while and at this time I have only one issue. It is an issue that will keep me from buying another one. When I go to squeeze the handles together to put on guitar neck, the capo will slip out of my hands/fingers/grip. It’s nicely made t and looks durable but the company needs to have grip areas at the end of the capos handles. I bough this based on a person on YouTube that recommended it. It would get 5 stars if it had grip areas to keep from slipping out of my grip. I have a good grip, it’s not me. ... show more

  • Best Capo deal for the $$
Color: Silver Satin
I surprised myself with this Ernie Ball Capo. I have a problem with my Shubb's and Paige capos that the part hanging off the back interferes with my hand position at the first fret - probably just a personal quirk that's hard to change after playing for 60-some years. My acoustics all have a curvature in the neck, and with the Ernie Ball Capo, there is minimal capo sticking out the back - no fretting about my fretting (sorry). Only regret, I bought the satin silver one instead of the black one and it stands out a bit. I think I'll get a black one. Incidentally, on my 12-fret Taylor with a full 1.75" neck, the Shubbs are a little short in catching the #1 string, and it's easy to pull off out of the crossbar. No problem with the Ernie Ball. Oh, and did I say this was a very inexpensive capo -- what a deal, my best was the cheapest one own. ... show more

  • Like this Ernie Ball Axis Dual Radius Capo
Color: Silver Satin
I wanted to try a different capo on one of my acoustic guitars. This capo provides exactly what I was hoping for. Since I keep my strings set low, some capos just don’t have what it takes to prevent nuisance fret buzzing. This Ernie Ball Axis has the necessary tension to firmly barre all the strings to produce a consistent, pure tone. The capo looks brawny but I have no issues with it interfering in my operating space. It does exactly what I was hoping it would. I will be buying a couple more and would recommend to anyone who is looking for better performance from a capo. ... show more

  • Simply the best capo
Color: Gold Satin
I’ve been plunking away on my guitars for more than 45 years. I’ve used lots of kapos, starting with those old style ones with the elastic with holes. Years back I discovered Kyser capos and usual used those as a first choice. However the rubbery stuff on them eventually degrades and while effective I though that there must be something superior out there that is worth the money. The Ernie Ball capo holds so well, is so easy to perfectly use, even though it a bigger more robustly made capo. I wouldn’t buy any other at this point. Highly recommended. ... show more
