Wonderful blanket
Color: Burgundy / Claret
Size: King
Have not had this but a couple months and I have only used my side twice. It heats up fast. You don't need to turn it on much before bed, and you will get into a comfortable, warm nest. My husband has used his often. I don't feel the heat from side at all. It fits my king mattress perfect, looks nice on the bed. I like the automatic shutoff feature as well, keeps us safe by not running all day and overheating and starting a fire or something.

Tests Fine & Works Great
Color: Indigo Blue
Size: Twin
Purchased to save money on heating oil this Fall and Winter. We have 3 of these and will use them in certain rooms instead of raising the temperature for the entire house. The blankets have 12 levels of heating (1 to 12) but I have never had to set them above heat setting 6 and time above 4 hours. It's a good product.

Even on sale, this was a total waste of money
Color: Indigo Blue
Size: King
Right out of the box, I knew I would hate it, and I hate it so much. I'm using it for the first time tonight, and with the excitement of a school girl getting asked to prom, I tore the box open and expected this to be like every other fleece electric blanket that I've purchased from Sunbeam.... This now just seems like a poor joke. This isn't fleece... Definitely isn't Ultra Fleece. It also isn't a blanket. It is two very thin pieces of cloth with wires weaved through it. I shouldn't be able to feel them like this. Somebody should be ashamed of themselves. The images of its plushy goodness is a lie. What I received is thin, flat as a sheet, and scratchy like one of their heating pads. This is like a cheap kid's halloween costume that you'd purchase from Walmart for a single use. Now that I've talked about the overall appearance, lets move on to performance! - it's been 30 minutes and it hasn't heated anything. So, thank you, Sunbeam for providing everything horrible all in one blanket! Instead of returning it, I'm probably going to toss it in the garbage and order an actual blanket from just about anybody else. But if any of this stuff sounds good to you, then you should totally buy this product. I will personally never give Sunbeam another dime for a heated blanket.

Great affordable blanket
Color: Indigo Blue
Size: Full
My wife uses this daily, and it was a Christmas gift over 2 years ago. Quality brand and always works great. Heats very well.

Not perfect heated blanket!
Color: Indigo Blue
Size: Queen
The blanket is not as nice quality as my previous Sunbeam heated blanket but it is adequate. My only complaint and I bought a king size is that there is a section running right down the middle of the blanket where there are no wires so that 1 foot section doesn't heat.

The moment I loved it most was when it broke.
Color: Indigo Blue
Size: Twin
The moment I loved this brand new electric blanket the most was the moment it failed. I didn’t know it at the time, but the cord got caught around a dog toy. Our gigantic derpmonster bit down on it and kept chewing. It happened fast. He’s fine, we’re fine. He never got so much as a tiny shock, and I only noticed there was a problem because my blanket stopped being toasty and I got an error code that wouldn’t go away. It remained, demanding attention, even when I tried to turn it off. I unplugged it and went to bed. Didn’t even see the detached line (one of three) and chew marks until the next day. Safety features work, y’all. An old fashioned electric blanket could have badly hurt our dog or burned our house to the ground. Posting this in praise of a well-made item! I never should have allowed a dog toy close to a cord—lesson learned—and I am so grateful for laws mandating safety features! This is the blanket to buy, in case anyone wants one that heats wonderfully AND breaks safely. Note the lack of burn marks or any of the dangerous electrical fire-causing stuff. I’m still in a bit of shock at what might have happened had I bought a crappy one that wasn’t made to UL or CE standards.) Ordering another right now.

Disappointed.. 😕
Color: Indigo Blue
Size: Queen
Honestly I was a bit disappointed. This being a Sunbeam product. I expected top quality. It works well. But the blanket itself is not plush at all like my previous sunbeam electric blankets. The wiring in the blanket is at least 7 “ or so from the top part of the blanket. So, from about, your chin to your chest no heat. And the wiring is at least 12” or more from the outside edge of the blanket on each side. My bed is a queen size bed. So it has dual controllers. Problem is there is a bit of room between the wiring on the left and right side. So there’s a cool spot in the middle. That’s no fun.. I purchased it last winter. It is still working. And It heats well. I was just really disappointed concerning the quality. I paid more, not opting for a less expensive product because Sunbeam has Always been a premium brand known for high quality. But this time that just wasn’t the case.. 😕

A Must Have Electric Blanket! I Have Already Ordered A Second Blanket!
Color: Pebble Gray
Size: Twin
I chill easily and also use heat to help with my severe arthritis. This twin sized Sunbeam Royal Ultra Fleece Heated Electric Blanket is FANTASTIC and exceeded all of my expectations! - Quality: Outstanding quality of design, materials, and construction. Long plug in cord is helpful in case the nearest electric outlet is a ways away. 12 heat settings on an illuminated control that are easy to see and adjust. - Comfort: So warm, comfortable, and cozy you won't want to take this electric blanket off! The blanket is soft and lightweight. Heat is evenly distributed throughout the blanket. - Appearance: The pebble colored I ordered is very pretty and will blend with any decor. - Use: This twin size is very handy and versatile. Great for cuddling up at night on a chair of chair and ottoman when reading, doing crossword puzzles, or watching TV at night (see night photo). Great for traditional bed use on one side of a king sized bed, for a person such as myself who likes bedding to be much warmer than my husband does. - Value: The current $49.28 price is a terrific value. I love this blanket so much that I have already ordered a second blanket! I highly recommend this product.
