This blanket works great. 12 heat settings and gets warm very fast. Setting number six to seven is perfect and that can even get a little warm. No need for running the heater and heating the entire house. Turn the blanket on 5 minutes before climbing in bed and you're set for the night.

We got this a a Christmas gift for my Dad and he absolutely loves it! It has many settings to fine tune the heat which his old one did not. Highly recommend this soft, easy to care for electric blanket. I washed it for him and hung it up to dry thoroughly so he could store it until next season. This is a fabulous electric blanket. It heats quickly and stays on up to 12 hrs. Now I don't have to run a space heater in my bedroom when it's very cold. The blanket does the trick. I've tried so many others over the years, but they were a disappointment. This blanket is amazing.

I love the feel of the fabric and it gets really warm. I like that you can make it really hot before you get into bed and then turn it down to about 3. However, I do not like the fact that the display light is blue is the reason for only 3 stars. I have read many times to avoid blue lights before/at bedtime. Previous blankets that I have had by the same company, turn off completely after a certain amount of time. This blanket, the display blinks until you turn it off. I sometimes forget to turn it off since I leave the controller on the floor due to the color of the display light and the brightness. If the things I don't like won't bother you, then definitely get this blanket. I really think the company could have done better. ... show more

    • Warm. Timer and heat setting options are best feature.
Material is nice. Didn't smell too bad out of the package as some bedding is prone to do. Size is good for me. The heat control and timer functions are really nice. The only thing I can think of as a negative is that the heat seems to be more in the middle of the body the most - like hips. The foot area being warmest would make more sense to me, but it's not enough of a downfall for me to seek out a different blanket to purchase. ... show more

This blanket I bought before surgery and the first 3 times I used it, it was fantastic. On max setting it became very very toasty. After those first 3 uses though it just barely gets warm that I don't really use it anymore because its kinda heavy and big for me to deal with for it to barely work anymore. I would have returned it because its overpriced for 3 quality uses, but I had it too long. ... show more
