    • Electric throw
This is the softest, fluffiest warmest blanket I’ve ever owned. I turned it on to 3 and was so warm I had to turn it off and I’m still warm. Wow very impressive. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Ever since I started on a certain medication I have been freezing, not now. Recommended.

    • Great throw, warm and toasty
Bought one for both of my daughters for Christmas and they absolutely love it, so I decided to buy one for myself. I love it too! Great product and it washes very easily. Definitely recommend this product.

    • Gets warm fast
I bought this product because my feet were freezing and this showed up while I was looking at electric slippers. I searched for more blankets with foot pockets and found very few. In the end, this was the least expensive and best reviewed. It was delivered a day early, so I am very happy about that. The instructions are fairly simple, though I am curious as to why the instructions were placed in a plastic bag in a bag made of bubble wrap. That was a little humorous for me. It's a good size and fits me easily. Both the hand and foot pockets are oversized. They are just a bit of the external fabric sewn on, so it has no heating element. It just gives you a place to put your hands that's covered. The foot pocket does make it easier to pull and tuck some of the actual blanket underneath my feet to take advantage of the coils in that way. PROS: - I can feel it heating up as soon as I turn it on. - Low isn't bad. Medium can get too hot after like an hour. High gets hot very quickly, and can be pretty intense. - It covers me from top to bottom while I'm sitting at my computer, which is exceptionally nice. CONS: - The cord connects to the remote which then connects to the blanket, and it's a little short on that end. Otherwise, the cord is long enough to get to an outlet. - It does not retain heat for very long. As soon as it turns off, it starts getting cold. Not cooling off. It gets cold. - Both pockets are rather, ludicrously, oversized. That means that cold air can reach my feet no matter what. It also means that the hand pocket is too deep when I'm sitting upright to actually be of use to me because my arms are too short to allow my hands to rest on the bottom of it. My cat LOVES this blanket. To the point where I cannot leave it for a moment, even when it is off. I don't know if it's a pro or a con, but it can be bothering. ... show more

    • Love isn't a strong enough word.
This is my favorite blanket in the house. We just moved to a colder are and I use this every single day as I wait for the sun to make an appearance. It's soft and lovely and is pretty warm on the low settings. I should note that if you have dry skin, you may not appreciate the texture, my husband for example hates it. ... show more

    • 10/10
10 out of 10 would buy again. My last heated blanket was VERY worn out so I took a chance on getting another and I would buy 5 more before I bought the old brand.

    • You don't know it, but you NEED this!
This was a Christmas gift for my mother, I thought she would like it while watching TV, as it gets quite cold in our section of the country in winter. The foot pocket doesn't heat up, but she didn't mind. She would NEVER use an electric blanket as she thought they would get too hot, so I thought I would try her with this. She LOVES it and said she had no idea these were so nice. She uses it on low and really likes it. I tried to tell her - glad she finally listened to me! ... show more

    • Disappointed - did not last and no easy support
The only upside to this product is that it worked very well when we first got it and is very soft. The downside (and reasons for the bad review) are I bought this in December for a Christmas present so she didn’t start using it until then. Today is February 20 and the throw stopped working about a week ago. Specifically, the bottom half of the throw no longer gets warm. I made an attempt to Sunbeam to file a warranty (product says limited 5 year warranty) and while they always sound nice in their (businesses) replies, I was basically told they no longer support this product and to contact a partner manufacturing company. My disappointment is two-fold, first that I have a throw that only lasted a month and a half and second that I’m not getting any support from the company (and quite frankly) or Amazon to a replacement and/or refund. I’m not one that normally speaks up in reviews but while I am replacing this gift for my wife, it’s just a shame that this experience has been so poor. I am hard-pressed to support a product that just didn’t give me a value that I felt I paid for and a company that made me feel as if I were being passed to the next. No consumer should have to jump through anything remotely close to hoops to resolve situations like this. This has been my experience that doesn’t apply to all but, for a situation that can be easily resolved, very disappointed. ... show more
