As many others have stated, the strap was about 2” too short. Also my light switch was inoperable. I was all set to return with a 1 start rating, However, an email to the customer support address in the instructions and within 12 hours had a replacement strap and replacement unit already shipped and arrived two days later. I’m upgrading my rating to 4 stars because of the excellent customer service. It’s a good value for a battery box. I’m using it for my 100ah Lifepo for disaster preparedness purposes and it’s good for that.

My husband is thrilled with this. He uses it to utilize his trolling motor battery, even in the off season. It's great for re-charging devices like phones, tablets, computers, or any USB of 12V socket powered device. It can even do AC current with the addition of an extra cost inverter. A great way to get lots more usage out of a LiFePO4 battery (or any 12V storage battery). He really likes that almost all of the wiring is tucked away behind a protective, removable panel, so wires don't get tangled or disconnected by movement, etc.

I bought this so i can have another box for my trolling motor and separate that from my electronics battery. It was less expensive than others why I bought it. The terminals are huge and no other fast adapting connectors fit. I had to change mine out. The plastic is like that if newport one i have that one as well. Pros. Good quality USB connectors x2 Light Car charger port Cons Terminals on outside too big No battery testing button If you dont want to deal with the terminals get newport one, but that went up in price or minn Kota one. I like the box itself

Unusable as delivered. The strap, which is the only method of securing the lid, is too short. The wing nuts for the terminals are coated with a very thin layer of "plasti-dip" type vinyl. One of them is deformed, with the "rubber" already peeling/tearing off before even touching it. Possible saftey issue, especially as the thickness of the rubber coating is on par with porta potty TP. The rest of the units build quality is about as expected, given the price point. I am reaching out to customer service. Very disappointed that it is unusable as shipped, but I will give them a chance to make it right before returning it. Will update this review accordingly if/when im able to use it.

I ordered two of these to go under my center console for my trolling motor batteries. Yes, there is a lot of functionality. Make sure the wing nuts are on the correct post. It seems like common sense, but… Consistent with the other reviews, the straps are a bit too short. Being that I am in a salt water environment, I am replacing the straps anyway so not a big deal there. The led light in the box is pretty bright. A second one on the other side would be a wonderful addition. Yes, I would recommend this product

Great box for a no fuss aux battery build for your rig. Keeps things confined and easily securable, nice that it has a volt meter and light too, been a good addition after building the bed mount. I have a 100ah AGM and added some foam to take up the voids so everything is solid. I forget what the issue was for me but I ended up buying a new more robust strap to secure the lid, that was the only downside.
