Went to together easy and fast. The assembly tools it came with, a little chintzy, but does the job if not wanting to pull out your hand tools for small simple job. Legit hand tools may make the task get accomplished a bit efficiently. Great for quick easy access for the most used or the common hand tools. However, I like a spot for my tools. I am not sure if this will get much use though. I like my tools storage in the tool bags and in one spot. I don’t care for multiple locations. This goes for the same for my hand tools and power tools. I have spot on the work bench and in a cabinet. It appears designed to be wall hung unit. You could install on a shelf or work bench but would lose the ability to hang your drills on the bottom of the shelf. It does come with drywall anchors but perhaps attaching to plywood substrate would be best. A piece of plywood for substrate to the wall before hanging the shelf. The shelf is not wide enough for wall studs. The mounting holes are 14.5” o.c. There are four, two on top and two on the bottom of the main support brackets. Sturdy and strong enough for a decent storage unit. I would not get too crazy of using the enclosed hardware. Beef up your attachment method if wanting to max it out. Although it is small, not sure what else you could put on it to over load it. Happy tool storing!! Four stars as it is a neat idea. Not designed to the hung on wall stud spacing. A custom fit needs to be considered when hanging or thought out before hanging into drywall. ... show more

This rack worked fine for my Ryobi set of tools. The metal framework is a little thinner than I expected for the price, but it's not flexing like it's going to break etc so it should be fine. I was running out of space in my tool drawers so some additional organization was badly needed. This cleared out a significant amount of space from my drawers and made a lot of those tools easier to access and put away, so no complaints. ... show more

This was provided for review as part of the Amazon Vine program. My initial reaction unboxing it was that if feels very well made and very sturdy. It does not feel cheap or like the finish is poor in any way. The only down side is that some of my Dewalt power tools don't fit very well. The drill fits great but the oscillating tool, for instance, you have to squeeze in. I have enough of the smaller tools that it will be fine but would prefer something that actually fit all the tools. ... show more

I like this tool organizer. It's solid, durable and easy to use. Assembling and installation was easy. There's plenty of space for storage with its ability to hold four power drills, 3 tiers and side racks to place random tools/accessories. The fit for the drills is a little bit tight (at least for the brand that I use) but they do hang from the rack. Overall, the organizer doesn't take up much space but does save me space so it's a win! I think $37 is a little costly, $30 seems about right - there is a coupon available at the time of this review that would lower the price to lower than that so I'd definitely recommend this product (with the use of the coupon!) ... show more

Included instructions are clear enough, though I could see where improvements could be made, better pictures maybe. The whole thing has a sort of rubberized powder coat on it, and the nuts and bolts are treated with something to make them blackened, it doesn't seem like paint. There are indeed extra hardware included though thankfully I didn't need it. I have a small cupboard under my stairs that has a hanging rack on the back of its door. That rack had become a bit of a catch all, and organization was needed. This little organizer was a perfect fit in the space. Being more rigidly secured hopefully stuff won't fall off as often as the door rack. I have fairly common tools by Ryobi and while they do fit securely in the tool holder portion, it is a little bit tight in the slot. You should not have any issues bumping tools off the rack. The shelves aren't as spacious as the pictures in the listing shows, make sure you pay attention to the listed dimensions and if needed use a measuring tape to help visualize the size. If you plan for that accordingly and you need a compact organizer this is a great option. ... show more

Installation was simple and easy, takes a little bit of work but nothing hard or long process by any means. Feels very sturdy. Not worried about putting heavy things on it. But I feel it looks smaller then the pictures make it appear as. It is not that big, but just look at the dimensions and see if it'll fit your needs. If thats the size you want, it'll be a great fit for you! I'm so happy to start getting things hang up and organized in my garage with this. I did not give it a negative rating because it's not a bad organizer. But in my opinion it is over-priced for its size. I don't find anything about it outstanding or impressive. I probably could have rated it 3 stars, but on Amazon that's considered a negative/critical review. I don't want to give this tool organizer a negative review, but I'm certainly not overjoyed with it. Maybe my expectations are too high. I love my tools, and I have several elaborate tool boxes. If you are less of a tool aficionado than me, chances are you could find this tool shelf very adequate. It seems sturdy enough, and its compact size may be a plus to many people. So I'm giving it 4 stars even though I think it should be priced lower. ... show more
