I bought this expecting it to maybe last one year. With the amount of sun we get, I expected it to break down in a year's time. Purchased in Nov of 2021. It made it through 2 winters here in California, but was done this spring. Losing little pieces of the blue bubbles, and it tore finally. That being said, it did what I needed it to do. It kept dirt out of the pool and kept perhaps a little more heat in during the colder months. It lasted as long as the original pool cover that we had, so I think it was worth it. There's not really other inexpensive replacement covers available for the steel frame vinyl above ground pools from Intex/Bestway etc., so this was as affordable and performed probably as well as anything else would have that I found that would fit our pool (trimmed this to fit an oval shape). Easy to install. We have a large irregular shape pool so we needed two and layered over. Once it was laid out and set it took about 15 minutes to cut shape. It did a great job keeping the pool warm and clean. Definitely kept us from filling the pool weekly. It probably saved us money. It last a year and the. Started to disintegrate. I am looking to purchase another. Not sure yet if I use this brand or change it up. ... show more

We purchased this in August of 2022, along with the stand that rolls it up at the end of the pool. It was a great investment for the year, it helped keep the heat in during September and October allowing us to keep our pool open longer. It was also helpful when opening the pool early last year as we were able to turn on the heater and keep the pool at temp. The downfall is that when the cover is on, the bugs and leaves that land in the pool do not circulate to the filter basket and I have to take time to skim the pool before using it because all the stuff is against the wall under the cover. Not a deal breaker but not convenient when you don't have time to skim then swim. Unfortunately, when we put it away at the end of the season last year it started to fall apart and was worse when we pulled it out this year. I will have to replace it and will be looking for a different one. If this is only a one year product, I don't want to spend $200 a year replacing it. ... show more

The pool temperature went up six degrees in two days with this puppy. Very durable and fits the pool great. Make sure you measure really well and get the size that's a little larger in case you're off and you can always cut off the excess material. I will re-buy again when it's past its useful life.

We bought this product for this April 23 2023for summer season. It is already coming apart. It's very thin and noticed when it came from box and we could see our pool sweep through it once placed on pool. We've bought many covers and are happy if they last 2 seasons, it's a good product. NOW on this one only lasting 5 months is horrible. We noticed the bubbles coming off while in the water around June when removing it from the pool for swimming that day back in June. We will have to throw away now since its gotten way worse. This plugs the filter and makes a big mess. Plus it wasn't cheap. Very disappointed in this product. ... show more

Not my first time ordering this pool cover. I usually get two or three years out of them before they start shedding a ton of blue dots. They work great for warming the pool, keeping debris out when not in use, saving evaporation and chemicals. Easy to cut to fit and recyclable when finished. My swim season is longer too! CONS: A reel would not work in my situation, so my wife and I pull it on and off as needed. Every so often we hose the dirt off as we pull it from the pool to the deck. They are warrantied for 5 years but good luck collecting on that. ... show more
