Long review but worth the read if you want to know how to get the best results from this, feel confident in your purchase, and hear it from a person who’s used it for a couple weeks and has now signed up for monthly subscriptions. This is my favorite product from the Sun Bum line for curly hair. I recently got a beach wave perm and was looking at many different products & brands. I stumbled upon the Sun Bum line and bought everything they had for curly/wavy hair to try in my quest to find a good product to replace the Aussie line I had always used. I’ve used this for 2 weeks now, I use this fresh out of the shower. I use a large tooth comb to detangle, then while my hair is still very wet, I flip my head down and while my hair is hanging I apply this & work it throughly threw my hair. I then use a hair towel to scrunch my hair up in sections, that removes any excess water and adds life and hold to my curls. I then do my makeup and finish my morning routine as my hair is air drying, when it’s just a little damp I then use the Sun Bum curling whipped mousse. I add a little towards my scalp working it in with my fingers, then put a quarter size amount of the mousse in my hand & apply it from the bottom of my hair scrunching it with my fist in an up direction then letting the curls fall naturally. I love these 2 products when used together. Long lasting, beautiful natural looking not crunchy feeling curls that last all day, with no frizz even on humid or windy days. If you’re on the fence, but it and try it. I was hesitant but after 2 weeks of using it I can honestly say it’s worth every penny. I get so many compliments on how soft my hair is and how beautiful the curls are. Also on the smell!! It smells great!! ... show more

I was browsing Amazon when this product came up and decided to give it a try since it was less than my usual styling creams and had good reviews. I usually use Bumble & Bumble Thick H(air) Styler or Caviar CC cream and mostly air dry my wavy hair. I first used Ouai Wave Spray then applied this styling cream to my hair in sections like my typical product, followed by a small amount of Garnier Sleek & Shine. Sections of my waves dried puffy with little definition or straight all week when I used this and I washed my hair three times trying the same amount of product I typically use, less product, and more product. It just would not work with my hair or the fact I air dry it. The product was also super sticky, had to wash my hands immediately after application or the next thing I touch would become sticky. In the end I had to use a cleansing oil and a heavy shampoo regimen for 2 washes until my hair went back to normal. Really wanted to like this but just wasn’t for me. ... show more
