I bought this gate to replace one from a different brand that my Lab had broken the handle on (smart dog, she figured out how to open the last gate). This gate was about 5 inches shorter than the last one we had which was a concern because when my dog gets excited, she tries to jump the gate and actually gets some pretty good height. So far, this gate has been fine for her height-wise and we havnt had any issues with her jumping over, getting hurt, etc. This was the tallest option that I found for narrow doorways (pre 1900s house, iykyk) and I was very disappointed that it didn't seem to come in a white option. The white option that I saw was an inch too wide for what would fit my home. I may have gotten mixed up with another gate since I was looking at so many at once, but I had thought that this gate said you could move the gate in whatever direction that you wish. This is not the case, it looks like you might be able to switch the direction but there is a little stopper at the bottom so even if you can change which way it opens into, you're stuck with what you choose- you can't have it set to just open it in whatever direction you want at any given time. Overall, this is a well made gate. It's all metal and feels very sturdy. I love the arch in the design and it was relatively easy to install. Still bummed that I couldn't get it in white.

We bought this to keep our Pomsky puppy from going upstairs unsupervised to wreak havoc. Previously we had an old school wooden baby gate with plastic grates blocking the stairway. The new gate first of all just looks way nicer. It is much taller and sturdier than the old one, and unlike plastic/wood isn't something my pup wants to chew on. There's no way he would ever be able to get it loose from the doorway, and the slats are too close for him to squeeze through. It makes it so much easier to just open a gate than step over one. No more banging my kneecaps or accidentally dislodging the gate. I wish I would have gotten this to begin with! Husband installed it easily in minutes.

We purchased 4 of these gates to keep our two growing puppies confined to the main floor and out of the kid's bedrooms (read: away from legos and barbies lol). We installed all 4 within 1 hour, and the quality was incredible for the price. The door swings open easily once installed and they are tall so our sheepdog pups are not able to jump over, however if they jump up on them, the gates are strong enough to hold them. I HIGHLY recommend watching the video prior to installation, it will make the installation go MUCH more smoothly. Seriously - LOVE these gates. Powder coated gray, looks and feels high quality, couldn't be more pleased.

This gate was so easy to install. The instructions were a bit confusing but I figured it out without needing them. It is so sturdy and does not move once installed correctly. This will definitely last me a long time. So worth the price!!

We like the sturdiness of the gate. We have a 9 month pity that we have to leave alone for a few hours. And the gate protects her from getting in the rest of the house. She doesn't like her crate.
