  • Make sure you have the correct charger
Can’t be recharged if you don’t have the right charger. Battery’s lasted about a week. Probably worth it if I had the charger

  • Disposable Lithium AAA batteries
I no longer use alkaline batteries in AA or AAA sizes. Lithiums do cost more, but they last triple the life of alkalineswhile actually being lighter in weight. But the reason I switched is the fact that lithium disposables NEVER leak. If you've ever had a flashlight that had alkaline (or worse yet manganese) batteries in it, you've most likelycseen corroded batteries that made you throw away your flashlight. Most flashlights use rechargeables nowadays, but many items that are hard to find replacements for use AA or AAA sized batteries. Remotes and atomic clocks are where I'm using the lithiums. If you've ever had an atomic clock with a remote sensor for temperature, you may have had an alkaline wreckcthe sensor by corroding. It is next to impossible to find a compatible sensor making it useless. Using lithiums takes awaycthat concern. ... show more

  • Lower starting Voltage
My rating is based in the voltage measured using multimeter. There are variations among the cells tested and all were around 1.59V to 1.65V. This is lower than Energizer’s Lithium which are consistently at 1.72-1.74 Volts and 1.66-1.70 Volts for EBL Lithium batteries. No longevity data but lower starting Voltage may suggest shorter or lower usable energy stored in each cell ... show more

  • Short service life
These cells have a short service life compared to other brands. I have used these in the transmitter for an outdoor thermometer. They lasted a little over one month, then abruptly failed. I checked the voltage and it was still acceptable but the amperage of the cell was too low to continue operating the device. ... show more
