At first, I worried that the book would be cheesy or too fast. I was quickly rid of those thoughts and felt very compelled to keep reading. The whole book was super intense till the end. My favorite about this book was that Alpha Roman was strong and matched up great with Isabella. Isabella was really strong and sexy, seductive, and brat in a good way (strong-willed). There were tons of moments I felt, 'Why is she constantly being defiant' but then realized it made the story that much better. Though I still feel Roman made me mad by not marking her and being selfish and inconsiderate I don't feel like he cared about Isabella enough and it bothered me at times. Super entertaining and multiple plots to keep the ball rolling. Thank goodness someone knows how to entertain and keep the reader engaged. Good job Emilia Rose. ... show more

Honestly, I almost passed this book up because of the description that is posted to get you to read it. I thought this might be a spicy book with no plot (🥴sorry) and I was craving a werewolf romance that had all the fixings. I was dead wrong and loved this book! When I say this book hooked me within the first 3 pages I’m not kidding. I’ve never been a reader…aside from a few autobiographies, I’ve never been able to get into any books. A friend (R.A. Sears…check out her books too!) suggested Emilia Rose books. I am obsessed! Steamy encounters paired with a suspenseful plot makes it so you can’t turn the pages fast enough!
