If you want a 10” bed, I suggest ordering the 12”. I ordered a 10”, and left it on the frame for at least 4 days before anyone was even allowed to enter the room. Lol. But it still never fully rose (see pic). It’s about a month and a half later now. It’s still only 8”. But it’s fine. It’s comfortable, it hasn’t lost its form in any area, and it serves its purpose. I don’t regret the purchase. Just order a size up from what you really want. Oh, and it inflated almost immediately. Like, I had to step back because I didn’t expect it to inflate that quickly. First off, for the price, I wasn’t expecting $1000 mattress quality. Advertised as Medium Firm but it is very soft. Laying on it is comfortable enough. Advertised with extra firmness on edges. Sitting on the edge to get dressed or whatever and you sink to the frame and can feel the springs on your rear. Advertised as a 12” only rose to 10” after 24 hours. Let me start this by saying my husband and I have only been sleeping on this mattress for 4 nights but we LOVE IT! We had a memory foam mattress but he’s a bigger guy (6’5, 270 lbs) and I’m not small either (5’11, 180 lbs) so the memory foam sunk in way too much. It felt like we were sleeping in a hole. We are both side sleepers so my research told me we needed a hybrid mattress that’s on the firmer side. I got it opened myself, it comes vacuum sealed, but includes a little cheap letter opener. The tips of mine broke when I started opening the plastic but it still worked. It doesn’t take long to fully inflate, it seemed almost instant as soon as I got the packaging fully opened. Probably because there are springs. So we slept on it probably 8 hours after I got it opened. No problems or smells (yay!). It took 2 of us to get it properly positioned on our box springs (we have the cal king). Now, I won’t lie, it seemed VERY firm at first. Like, it was a little off putting. But we woke up the next morning and it was the first time in YEARS that we weren’t complaining of back and hip pain. I slept so well, I was snoring lol. So all that to say, if you are a bigger person (or couple) and need something that will hold your weight without sinking in too much, this is it! But like I said, it’s only been 4 days so if my opinion changes, I’ll update! ... show more
