For the record, I do mix with a coconut apricot wax! Coconut apricot wax is fantastic but I needed a smoother and higher fragrance load candle wax. This is good alone, but I like making a special blend to get all the benefits I'm looking for. This wax is SMOOTH! No black soot like others are saying. A lot of people leave their wicks entirely too long and that can make you throw soot too. Try cutting your wicks back or measuring your fragrance load by weight. I have been making wax melts for a while and this wax works amazing with it!!! Have no complaints at all and gives amazing scent cold and hot throw. Definitely will be buying more of the company’s products!!! I melt the wax slowly to 175 and add FO. Never have any issues.
