Shortly after purchasing these shoes, I had an accident at work and had an heavy duty ladder roll over my foot while wearing these shoes. If I wasn't wearing safety shoes I would have broken my foot 100%, because of these shoes it saved my toes and foot. I hobbled away with a gnarly bruise but nothing broken. These shoes fit well, they aren't super lightweight, but they are work boot sneakers, so what do you expect. They do everything I needed them to. They seem durable and sturdy.
