I never really thought the pen was something I needed for what I do but I have always been curious what I was missing. At this price point, I was willing to give it try and see what a pen can do that my fat fingers can’t. That will take some more time to figure out 🧐 but at this point I’m completely satisfied with this pen. It paired easily, charged quickly, mag-sticks perfectly, turns on-and-off easily, has simple to understand color indicators, and came with 2 replacement tips in the kit. Do these wear out? I guess they do; it’s hard to imagine but this alien technology to me 🤫 I’m still learning. Yea, not supposed to talk price but unless we do, there is no point in reviewing this pen 🤷♂️ Simply put, it works 😉 It lacks the pressure sensor so it’s not really a drop in replacement for the 🍎 version but depending on your goals / expectations, it’s actually pretty impressive at this price point 🎯 It works fine with my iPad Pro v1 11 but not with the new m4. This is common knowledge now to most people (except me) but you do need to do a little homework about your iPad model and the pen requirements of Pen-1 Pen-2, USB-C Pen, or now Pen-Pro 😰 wow. I suggest you get the newest version that is compatible with your iPad BUT don’t expect backward compatibility 🙅♂️ I had some “spotty” performance initially and didn’t understand why. Eventually, I peeled the protective sheet off the iPad (installed forever ago) and the pen’s response became perfect and what I was expecting. The iPad changes some iOS features when the pen is connected, like the pop-up keyboard. Some I like, some I don’t; it’s not better / worse, it’s just different and will take some time to adjust to. If you are doing any kind of drawing / sketching / artistry, don’t hesitate. For these purposes it’s night vs day. Stars: 5 for value, 5 for providing the advertised functionality, 3 because there are at least a dozen similar options at the same price and it doesn’t stand out in the crowd, 1 or 2 because it doesn’t provide pressure broadening like 🍎 (but only 🍎 has this ability) so in a tight secondary market for “almost as good” I’ll settle in at 3.65 🌟

I have used other stylus pens, including those made by Apple, and this one is as good as the original, but much more economical. It was totally a breeze to connect to my iPad, simply follow the included instructions. It writes and taps as smooth as can be. Others I have used seemed to "hang up", but I have not had one instance of that here. Charging is easy too. The strong magnet in the pen attaches it to the side of the iPad and it takes maybe an hour to reach full charge. Keep in mind, when I did charge it it was completely drained, so charging before it runs out may be quicker and is obviously a better option anyway. The top of the pen has an indicator light to let you now when your pen is on, charging or is low on battery. The one thing that the pen doesn't do that I wish it did, with my old Apple pen when it was attached to the iPad the system would tell you what percent battery life your pen was at. This does not do that, but I am sure that is because that is an Apple thing. Overall, however, I absolutely love this pen. It works perfectly, is a comfortable grip, and is much cheaper than what I would have had to pay for an Apple pen had I chosen to go that route. So glad I found this one!

The stylus works great, and I have no complaints about how it connects/works with my iPad. My big complaint is charging this thing. It only charges via magnetically attaching to the side of the iPad. It will blink like it's charging, but often never seems to be charged much at all (if any) when it comes time to use it. I finally tried taking the iPad out of the case, and it charged better, so that is probably the issue. However, I've had another stylus or 2 I've used over the years that had no issue whatsoever charging with that exact same pad. It's happened several times where the stylus somehow got turned on accidentally (just a click on the top end turns it on) and, instead of charging back up--since it stays magnetically attached when not in use--it was 100% dead when I needed it. That is frustrating! It also does not charge quickly at all.

This is a great stylus pencil for your iPad. I originally bought this for my older iPad and realized that it was not compatible (no wireless charger) so my daughter gladly took it and used it for her iPad Mini. She loves it and it works great for her. It's magnetic and sticks to the side the iPad for charging. Once it's fully charged, there was absolutely zero configuration needed for it to start working with her iPad. I highly recommend this as an affordable alternative to some of the other stylus out there.

We took the ipad out of the case to try and charge this thing and it will not attach properly. Several tried and it keeps going lopsided. We tried every which way, but it's like only the middle is magnetize so it doesn't sit at the top properly to charge. There's no other way to charge it so it's pretty much useless to us. Will get the one that can charge by magnet attachment as well as a port for charging so we have options. The pen itself worked great, the issue is only with attaching it and getting it charged.
