Idk why everyone is having problems with the pads falling out. If you install it correctly it does just fine. I did however have to use the slider pin part from the old caliper but if your smart and pay attention to what your doing. It actually does well. Would recommend. Also. Yes you can take the pads out and change them when the time comes. Some say you can't remove the pads. But yes you can. Just gotta know what your doing lol

I have gone through plenty of mechanical calipers that never worked perfect to start with this comes prefilled with fluid but I recommend adding more fluid tightening the brake line on the caliper and the master and bleed the air before riding. Depending on your configuration you do not necessarily need to bolt it a heavy duty spring worked fine for this build. Make sure your caliper bleed valve is straight up or at a slant, otherwise bleed the air and use clamps before installing, you'll stop on a dime everytime.

Quite possibly the worst designed brake out there. Nothing holds one of the pads on there but hopes and dreams apparently. after installing i took bike for a test ride and at About 45 mph i tried to stop only to realize i had no brakes. Both pads had fallen out on their own and i had to lay the bike down to stop. Luckily i was on a dead end road and not around other cars or it could have ended up with me being seriously hurt
