I love the idea of these clippers and, had I actually received the product as advertised (new), would have probably been thrilled to own and use these. Unfortunately, the pair I received has clearly been used, as the back of the clippers is pretty badly dinged up. I’m not a picky person, though, and was willing to look past these blemishes if everything else looked okay under closer inspection. That’s when I noticed the cut hairs stuck in the oil and grease that had been applied to the clippers before shipping. These hairs were stuck in every nook and cranny and this, I decided, was enough to tip the scales toward returning the item. I couldn’t be more disappointed. These were bought to replace my trusted Oster 76s that were tragically lost during a recent move. I have an important event in two days, and I was counting on being able to use these new high-speed, cool guys clippers to trim up the ole head and beard so that I look a bit less homeless for this particular engagement. Because of this circumstance, I’ve been looking for any reason to validate keeping these clippers. At the end of the day, though, I just expect more for $200. When I bought my Osters, I received a high quality product in the most plain Jane packaging I’ve seen…the clippers were the focus. When I ordered these Stylecrafts, I received junky clippers in beautiful packaging. Something’s backwards there. ... show more

These clippers may be heavy but they can blend fasho just have other clippers in your arsenal and im sure you won’t complain just remember each clipper has its own purpose for certain hair types just have multiple to tackle those cuts. These are fantastic. Sharp. I love that they also accommodate the old Wahl combs too, so if you need the longer combs or ear taper combs from your old setup, they work here too. They may be heavier than a pro would want for all day usage, but for your home it's perfect.... I'm guessing it weighs more because the extended battery capacity over other clippers from style craft. ... show more
