Finally, I’ve found a travel-sized styling mousse that is effective at holding my hair, even in humidity. I usually use Kenra Affirmation (firm hold - 17) mousse, but Kenra does not sell a travel-friendly size. Style Factor’s Edge Booster is the best alternative I have ever encountered. I recommend it for curl definition and overall style/control; a great product whether traveling, or not!

I purchased this for traveling as I have curly hair and needed something to take in my carry-on bag. I was very surprised with the great hold with no blow drying, however it smells like finger nail polish. If they could fix the smell, I would purchase it again.

Do not be afraid to try this. Buy the travel size to see if you like it. I won’t ever use anything else. I have 3B curls, thin and colored. I use L’Oréal volumizing sulfate free shampoo and nothing else. This conditions, curls, adds shine and volumizes. I just let it air dry. I also live in the south where it is hot and humid, no frizz. I was just on a trip and took this with me. I usually have a bad experience when traveling with the different water, not this one. It worked exactly the same. I’ve spent thousands on different products, so believe me you won’t be sorry. I bought the brown one and the purple. Purple smells a little like peaches and the brown one smells great, it’s my favorite. They are strong when you first apply but the smell totally goes away. I hope it works as great for you.

Received this in the smallest size with the scent of Green Beryl (ocean scent) because I wanted a scent that might be lighter, because when you think of ocean, you think on the lighter side, right? Well I’m so glad I ordered the small trial size because although I could have and should have returned it, I had opened the plastic wrap around it and I didn’t feel like dealing with returning a 6.00 item. I still may return it. The smell of this is worse than cheap perfume. I could still smell it on my hands an hour later after using it. The product itself is more of a foam than a mousse and I don’t think it has extra hold as advertised. It’s also very drying and my hair behaved and looked differently than usual. My curls were tighter and then the frizz started. It was just not working for me and it’s too bad because I love the options of scents and the trial size option. I also have a feeling that the scents all smell the same, more or less. Really wanted to love this.

I have wavy frizzy hair and during the summer it is out of control even with a flat iron. This is a game changer. I like to wear my hair straight. Usually when I just blow dry it is a frizzy mess even with a flat iron. This stuff gives me shiny flatter hair instantly and when I flat iron there is zero frizzy. My only regret is I did not purchase the big bottle, will order again!
