This watch looks good and is a fairly solid build. I have a large collection of watches of this caliber and this one is my almost daily choice. This depthmaster has a quartz movement and is easy to adjust the time and date with the crown. It came with a black rubber strap that looks great, but I swapped it out with the NATO strap pictured. Haven't taken it swimming, so cant verify if it's truly waterproof, but it does have a screw down crown. I'm happy with it, no complaints! ... show more

I am impressed by this watch. I looked at several different brands (Seiko, Orient, Invicta, etc.) and decided on this watch largely based on price, appearance, and Amazon customer reviews. I actually also ordered an Invicta which I will review separately. I have had this watch for about a week. I got it because I wanted a different look from my iWatch. There is no doubt that this watch does not have the extensive functionality of the iWatch. However, that does not subtract from the fact that this is a really good watch. Essentially, it is as described on the Amazon website - meaning no surprises. However there are a several points I would like to emphasize. The watch is keeping very accurate time which I measure against another watch which has proven to be consistently accurate. The appearance of the watch is very impressive. The fit and finish is flawless, and the rotating bezel works fine. While I haven't been SCUBA diving, I can say that I can wear it in the shower and the pool without any problem. The band is also very comfortable. In fact, I find myself wearing this watch more than my iWatch, and I can comfortably wear this watch all day. Considering the price, this watch is a real value. If I have unforeseen problems later on, I will add to this review. But for right now, I will say that it exceeds my expectations. ... show more

Love the way the watch looks, fits, and it’s a good weight on my wrist. But this watch is NOT water resistant at all! I purchased this watch a few months ago and have gone swimming with it once in a swimming pool, not more than 7 feet deep. Last week I went in to have the battery replaced at a jeweler and she let me know that there was some water in the case. She had noted that it said it was supposed to be water resistant to 330 feet but she wanted me to know that there was actually water in the case. Very, very disappointed as this was the main reason that I bought to watch to begin with! I am growing weary of Amazon, not being able to uphold what their sellers are selling. I therefore give this two stars as I only paid about $50 for the watch. Not a good value, though in my estimation. I would rather have put that money toward a more expensive watch that is actually waterproof. UPDATE: this watch is garbage! After having the battery replaced in what is obviously too short of time, and being told that the watch was clearly not waterproof as there was moisture inside the Watch casing, now the date mechanism does not work at all! This Watch is garbage, garbage, garbage, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! All I have to show for this is a very, very VERY expensive watchband! GARBAGE!!! UPDATE #2: please, please PLEASE, save your money, put it into a better brand name like Timex or Casio! So first of all the battery died right away, next it is definitely not waterproof! Then, the date stopped working! And finally, The Glass face on the watch dial has begun to bubble on the inside so you can’t even read the time clearly! I don’t think this is a one off, I think this Watch and the company are garbage! Save your money!! Enough for nothing, but I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, I usually just stay silent, but I think it’s important in this case. It's a handsome watch in many ways. Suggested retail price if $395 is absurd. This watch is appropriately priced under $60. They decided to make the case fat like an automatic watch,cehen this is a cheap quartz. Just be honest and save 4mm. That's my biggest gripe. Next is that mine stopped twice within the first month. It cost me $38nto send it back for repair. They usually charge $30 to look at it,even under warranty, so be aware of that. They waived that extra fee for me. No problems yet, after two weeks with the repair. I also bought a Casio MDV106 "Duro Marlin" about the same time, which I prefer. For the same money, get the Casio. YMMV. ... show more

I needed a easy to view waterproof watch. I saw this watch and the price and such seemed to fit the bill. Now after wearing and using the watch, I find it some what hard to see time. I also have a issue with setting Date. The Setter does not extend to the 3 rd level. Otherwise seems to be well made. If it ever sold for more than current price I would smile. ... show more
