Streamlight products are fantastic! This kit is the regular Stinger; made with an aluminum body and not the Polystinger. The Stinger is an LED that puts out an awesome light beam! The kit comes with an AC and DC charging setup that allows the user to just change input cable to the charger cradle and you change the current; AC to DC or vice versa! It also comes with the quality Streamlight battery. Now here is the BEST part! The Stinger flashlight has a LIFETIME WARRANTY. Streamlight is excellent when it comes to doing warranty repairs! I believe the other kit items have other warranty terms, so you have to contact Straemlight for questions on those items. However, I can tell you, as an owner of other Streamlight Stingers, the chargers and batteries are great quality items. I have had no issues with failures; I do take care of my items so they aren't abused. As the description says, the Stinger has a switch in the tail cap as well as on the upper body. The switches go through 3 levels of light, from high, medium, low, and also a flashing strobe function by quickly double tapping either switch. I can't say enough praises about the Straemlight Stinger flashlight. The LED has great battery capacity for long usage. The outer housing around the top of the light does get a bit warm, but I haven't experienced any heat level that was beyond a safe touch level for a bare hand. Sturdy, reliable, with a bright and clear beam. Streamlight is an amazing brand, always impressed with how tough and useful their lights are. Battery seems great so far, charger is quick! This is the model which has the button on the tail in addition to the standard button, and both are easy to click on and off.
