  • Bought new, came USED in opened package
Color: 80 PLUS Gold Size: 600 Watts Style: SF Pattern Name: Power Supply
**BEWARE** Bought this power supply which was "Sold by: Amazon.com Services LLC" but it came used in an already opened box. The cables were randomly thrown in the box (unwrapped) and the power supply did not come in a felt bag. The paint was also chipped from it being previously screwed in. I can't add images to this review for some reason... ... show more

  • It fits!
Color: 80 PLUS Gold Size: 600 Watts Style: SF Pattern Name: Power Supply
I have stuffed this power supply into over 50 builds, over the last two years. NONE of the 50 have caused us a single issue. That is nice, since we warranty our work. Normally the PS is the main failure worry I have, but now it's fans (since we don't use spinning drives anymore) - I fully blame Corsair for that (we only use their supplies (10 years now)). It's quite. It fits. It has plenty of power for modern gaming PCs. It's reliable for workstations. It's affordable (in the business world, teens looking for a gaming PC - might have a different opinion). It comes in a flashy box with a velvet bag that everyone I know has now (and likes). They handle crappy ac power well. That alone has saved us thousands in onsite component repair. I almost RMA-ed one once (realized a board fault and canceled the RMA) - Corsair was "business friendly" in manor and willing to help - they issued the RMA without a fight. The only con I have, is that it's better to buy them retail than through a distributor, pricing is near the same and shipping, warranty service is better on the retail side. If you buy 100s at time that may be different - but we buy them 5 - 10 at a time. Okay another con - I have a ton of velvet bags now and no other swag - at some point they should send me a invite to a company party or at least a t-shirt ;) ... show more

  • Quiet and handles the load
Color: 80+ Platinum Size: 600 Watts Style: SF Platinum Pattern Name: Power Supply
I was just forced to buy an SFX power supply because I switched to a Lian Li 011 Dynamic Mini. I didn't know before I bought the case that it only accepted SFX form factor PSUs, I found out after I already had most of my system installed in the case. My build is an ATX Z390, i7-9700k oc'd @ 4.9 GHz, RTX-2080, and a whole lot of Corsair RGB, including an H115i cooler. So far this power supply is handling the load admirably and is basically silent, just like my old Corsair RM850 that I was using for this build. I was hesitant to downgrade my PSU wattage so much but I knew 600W was enough. The individually sleeved cables are a nice addition too. I just hope this power supply lasts. ... show more

  • Complete failure after 23 days, however Corsair did replace it.
Color: 80 PLUS Gold Size: 450 Watts Style: SF Pattern Name: Power Supply
6/5/2018 Fit perfectly in my compact tower, performed as expected for exactly 23 days, then complete failure. I would press the power button and my LEDs would flash and click twice and it would shut down within a second. Confirmed the failure with a local repair center, and confirmed it was not due to heavy load (my build only required 300-350 watts). 6/19 The RMA process via the Corsair website was fairly straightforward albeit frustratingly slow, but I now have a new PSU. Fingers crossed that this one lasts longer than the first. To be fair, I give the WORKING PSU 5 stars, I love it, it is quiet, and fits perfectly in my custom build, but I docked a star because of the inconvenience of having to get a replacement so soon after my initial purchase. ... show more

  • Perfect fit for any sized case!
Color: 80 PLUS Gold Size: 600 Watts Style: SF Pattern Name: Power Supply
Power supplies really haven't changed much in the last 10 years, but finally, this is a real game changer. Pros: - Completely silent, even under load - Fully modular-ness makes install/reinstall/removal a breeze - Fantastic for mini cases - Ultra short cables Cons: - Cables should be all loose, instead of ribbonized for maximum flexibility - SATA power should have both 90º and 180º options, instead of just 90º - Should have come with SFX to ATX adapter In the month I've used it so far, it's been nothing short of amazing. This, paired with the SG13 was the best machine I've ever built. Opted to get the Silverstone PP08 adapter for extra ventilation. ... show more

  • I'm lucky my GPU lived
Color: 80+ Platinum Size: 600 Watts Style: SF Platinum Pattern Name: Power Supply
This seemed like a good PSU for a while for my mini-itx build. It had the 3700x, 2080 super, and a custom loop humming along for months until I started getting brownouts on the GPU. After making sure all the connections were reseated, and my drivers all worked, the only thing that got me back into anything more graphically intensive than moderate web browsing was a new PSU. This thing is a liability that will allow your computer to keep chugging along with out-of-spec power, putting your whole build at risk. ... show more

  • If you need it, you need it
Color: 80+ Platinum Size: 600 Watts Style: SF Platinum Pattern Name: Power Supply
In short, you either need it for your build or you don't. If you have an SFF, get this. I have a very SFF case, so this is pretty much the worst case scenario for a PSU. This may be from heat leakage from other components like my hot asf 1070 FE, but from what I've seen Corsair prioritizes noise over heat dissapation. This thing gets relatively hot, maybe like 50-70 C? I put my hand over the case where this was and it felt pretty hot. That being said, this is really your only option for a SFF psu right now, and they are extremely premium. It's modular, and the cables that come with it feel amazing and are a really good length. Some may say that it's too short for their system, but it fits almost perfectly in mine (there's some excess but that's to be expected). If you're deciding between a SF750 and this, Optimum Tech did an excellent video on this PSU, but what you need to know is that it can handle the new GPUs at max load, even with an overclocked 10900k from Intel. Ideally you would get a SF750 if you can find one in stock, but this will definitely do the job. ... show more
