So far so good! I was worried that the chair would be too small from other reviews. I’m 5’1” and about 115lbs so luckily it’s the perfect size for me. Our tool bits were taped on the box so be mindful. Most of the package came assembled so we only had to attach the arm/back rests. There are two sets of snaps you do have to drill into the chair yourself. The cushions are stiff but I already have an extra seat cushion I plan on using! ... show more

Great glider for the value. We needed something cheap to keep in our sons room so we could read to him and put him to bed. ***However, it is small.*** I’m 5’1” and it fits my small frame perfectly; my head comes about an inch past the top of the back when I’m sitting. My husband, though, is 6’2” and he will definitely have a lack of headrest which sucks since he was the one who wanted a glider in the first place. All in all, this will certainly be much more comfortable than the old rocker we were using for the past 6 months with our new baby (pictured on the left), which left our bottoms numb by the time we could get up! ... show more

I am an elderly lady living in Assisted Living. I needed a medium size comfortable chair for my room. A few other people have these chairs in their rooms, they are attractive, comfortable and a good size for a small room. After a month looking and reading reviews on Amazon I ordered this Storkcraft Premium Hoop Glider and Ottoman. It arrived yesterday. I finished putting it together around 3:30 in the afternoon. I was very careful and followed directions. Every part was here and directions were clear. When completed it was very attractive but looked small. I had checked measurements to make sure when I sat in it the back would support my head and shoulders. I am 5'6" tall. When I sat down it was tall enough beep enough. The armrest ended well before my wrist, my knees extended well beyond the edge of the seat. No matter how I sat it was exceedingly uncomfortable. Attractive but there was no way I could sit in it for more than a few minutes. I moved the ottoman around, I tried, I wanted it to work. Both seat and arms are shallow. Now unfortunately I have a sweet glider rocker that is impossible to sit and relax in. Unfortunately I didn't know this until it was put together. Maybe if I was nursing, leaning forward with my arms around a baby, maybe it would work, maybe, If your short. 65 years ago I would have put it in my daughters bedroom. She would have loved it. My first thought was simply return it. The realization I would need to take it all apart and then repackage everything I realized was too much for me. I could take it apart but never get it all repackaged. It is sitting between my bed and dresser. Can't open the dresser drawers. Can't have a garage sale, etc. Hmm. I know my fault. Certainly no one else's. It is attractive, it goes together easily, everything is included, just be aware the seat and arms are not made for taller women. Good for the price but I’d buy a nicer one if I could go back. I like to set my feet up on the foot rest on the edge but it’s causing the cushion to crush and no longer be squishy. It’s like putting your feet directly on the wood. It’s comfy tho and good for the price but I wish I had invested in a better one ... show more
