While it did take me a while to assemble, it came together rather easily. I put most of it together myself (8 months pregnant lol) with some assistance toward the end. It has great storage space and is exactly what we needed! I love that once my son outgrows the changing table part, it can easily be removed to open up the top of the dresser for extra storage. This has been a great purchase for us. It looks great and I love that you can take the top off so can just use it as a shelf after you no longer need a changing table. It has a lot of storage which is great to keep essentials within reach- I used plastic baskets for organization. My husband put it together and said it wasn’t bad. I don't normally review products but I feel compelled to leave a review for this dresser. I was having a really hard time choosing a dresser for our nursery as a first time mom due to inconsistency of reviews. This dresser had mostly good reviews and looked like it would fit a changing pad and a little extra on top, so I took a chance on it. I'm happy to report that it definitely met my expectations! If you are not the most handy person, I was able to assemble this by myself at 33 weeks pregnant with very little assembly experience prior. Granted, it took me an entire evening and I'm still sore a few days later - but I did it! Storkcraft has videos showing step by step instructions and while the one they have online is for a slightly older model, watching that before tackling the instructions that came with the box made this feel infinitely more manageable. The only thing I wish was slightly different is that the dresser would be slightly deeper/wider since the changing pad just barely fits width wise (we have the Skip Hop wipeable changing pad). Overall, I'm really pleased with this dresser and happy that I was able to put it together myself. The finished product is beautiful and I'm hoping we'll get a lot of use out of it for years to come. ... show more

REALLY impressed by this dresser. I bought two of them for my kids. The package was immaculate, with each piece carefully wrapped. Many layers or styrofoam in between each piece, and everything was nicely labeled (even the hardware). It was a lot of trash to dispose of from packaging but totally worth it, not a single damage in any of the pieces. Assembly took about two hours per dresser with me and my husband working together, which is a bit of time but again, worth it. The storage capacity was also nice, enough for one child (per dresser). I didn’t notice any of the harsh smell that others mentioned, it just smells like new furniture (which I actually enjoy lol). Overall, amazing value for the price, looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL and it’s very heavy/sturdy. ... show more

Wouldn’t recommend this product at ALL! we got purely for the measurements. We have a small place. It showed up broken and didn't have the material in place to prevent it breaking which means it was used prior and resold. We had to send back and replaced it and the “new” one was also a resell. It had what looked like whiteout painted on chipped places and some areas has broken spots but small. Not wanting to have to deal with another return etc we put together hoping that it wouldn’t be a big deal. Well the end result was the bottom being uneven and rocking. The rocking is almost gone simply because of our changing pad that’s putting enough pressure downward, if we take it out it rocks like crazy. I’m due in a few weeks and this whole ordeal has been ongoing for almost 2 weeks. I’m due very soon and don’t have the luxury of sending back for a 2nd time, waiting a month for a refund (Amazon new return policy) or trying to shop for another baby changing station. So I’m stuck. If this is Amazon’s new return policy, I would highly recommend not purchasing anything like this unless you know know it’s gonna work and would highly recommend looking for another baby changing station. This is def not the one! And yes I read the bad reviews but of course, there are always bad reviews, but I’m telling you it’s not normal to receive 2 prior used/returned baby stations unless there’s a real issue with the manufacturing! ... show more

    • Decent dresser, build it with two people for easiest time

We wanted a dresser from IKEA. It wasn’t available. We chose this one instead. This dresser is a decent size and works as a place where we put our baby’s changing mat. It seems all dressers for kids now have a safety measure that prevents using the drawers as stairs, so I won’t take off stars for that. It is annoying when putting away laundry, but I get why it’s a thing. However, I don’t love how loud the drawers are when they get slid in and out of the safety catch. It’s not terrible, and I’d probably get the dresser again if I had to do it over. I had to put it together at 9 months pregnant, and I needed another person because some of the pieces were on the heavier side. Be prepared to have someone build it with you - don’t do it alone. TIP: pay close attention to the letters on the pieces or you’ll end up messing up the drawers. It will matter - we messed up and had to undo two drawers in order to put them in. Only real problem was that the baggie of supplies to attach the dresser to the wall was missing a necessary piece. The.
