Typically, I am a patient person. I have put together plenty of annoying IKEA things (if you know, you know). I had high hopes that this crib would be a breeze to assemble. Wrong. My wife and I took a total of 3 hours to put this stupid thing together. We followed directions step by step(as best as we could) and yet, things didn’t fit, or were loose and not secure. I could go on and on about the endless issues we had, but long story short, JUST GET THE ASSEMBLY. You will save yourselves your sanity, arguments, and just insane frustration. Good for the money! Couple dings & scratches but I'm not complaining because it's heavy and was delivered to my front door. Drawers are a little smaller than I expected. They shut all the way. If they do not, you installed them wrong. I found it hard to assemble at 8 mths pregnant. It probably would have took me 3 days alone. I found the directions a little confusing. I ordered the crib & mattress combo. They sent a thin changing pad, about 1/2 inch thick. I will be replacing it. ... show more

I love how the bed can "grow" with the child, which is one reason I got it. The fact it came with a changer table was another reason I got it. It'll be interesting to see how easy it is to change in the next phases.

There were a few step my father and I couldn't figure out what we needed to do. We managed to figure it out but I wish I had just paid the extra money for professionals to put it together. I love the crib though, it seems like it will last. The mattress took forever to come though. It was originally supposed to come in2 days after the crib but then was lost in the mail so I had to have it reordered and it came right before I gave birth which was frustrating ... show more
