This dresser was surprisingly simple to assemble with clear instructions. It looks great and it’s very sturdy. I do not like the interlocking system as it makes way too much noise and sounds janky. It’s metal so opening the drawers makes an unpleasant sound that may be too loud when a baby is sleeping in the room. It also makes the drawers pull out less smoothly. Two of the plastics drawer assembly pieces did not work properly so I was unable to get a fully tight fit with the screw. I wish they would have a few extra pieces of hardware in the kit for situations like this. Overall I do love this dresser and I feel it’s a great value for the price. ... show more

Way worth the money! Super sturdy and very heavy. I. Not worried about my kids climbing on it and it tipping over. The drawers come with a pre installed childproofing lock so only one drawer can open at a time so kids can not climb it. I love the color and quality. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and looks great in my nursery. I had some missing parts on delivery but Storkcraft was prompt in providing the missing pieces. My biggest complaint is the noise from the interlocking drawer system. I can appreciate the safety feature, but had I known how noisy the drawers would be on opening/closing I would not have purchased for a nursery. Keep this in mind when purchasing. ... show more

This dresser looks stylish in our baby’s room and feels sturdy with plenty of storage for clothes and essentials. Assembly seemed intimidating at first since there were a lot of parts, but with some help it came together in just a few hours. Things to keep in mind: The drawers only open one at a time, which might be a built-in safety feature but could be inconvenient. The biggest drawback is the noise; opening and closing the drawers could be disruptive during late-night changes or naps. Honestly, I wouldn’t have chosen this dresser if I had known about the noise, but I still love how beautiful it looks in the nursery. Pros: - looks great in a baby’s room - sturdy build with plenty of storage - possible safety feature with drawers opening one at a time - assembly manageable in a few hours with help Cons: - drawers are noisy (tough during naps/overnight) - one-drawer-at-a-time feature can be inconvenient - assembly might take longer if done by yourself Update: To take care of the noisy drawers, you can take off the metal tracking bar that is located on the inside of the dresser. First, assembly took me solo and pregnant about 5 hours (with breaks of course). But wasn’t challenging. All the parts were there and fit the instructions well. At one point there is a peg that goes in the bottom that has a cap protecting the screw, pro tip, take off the cap. I tried shoving that in for a good 5 mins and switching sides of the bottom board until I figured it’s covered. But beyond that, it’s a great sturdy dresser. Impressed with the quality for the price. This drawer is overall made of solid wood with high quality material. The bottoms of the drawers are MDF, not solid wood, but still has good strength and is reinforced in the middle. Some internal wood pieces came chipped, but they were not major load-bearing pieces. Putting it together took an hour with one person with a drill (there are many Phillips head screws to screw!) The interlocking mechanism, which prevents multiple drawers from being open, is a nice feature and works well, but means that the drawer makes a clacking sound when opening and closing a drawer. ... show more

DO NOT BUY!!! This thing is very poor quality. One of the threaded rods ripped out the side board (aparently this area is just cheap mdf) and one of the wooden boards cracked as I tightened the nut without much pressure. I’ve assembled several pieces of furniture over the years and am always careful. I’ve never had this much trouble -even with cheap IKEA furniture. I can’t even assemble this now because critical attachments are broken ... show more
