This waterbed developed a leak after 3 months at the seam between the air boundary and the waterbed. I saw someone else that made a very similar post. I was worried when I saw that the product came with a patch kit and even the instructions said to check it for leaks with air before filling it with water. Amazon doesn't vet the vendors that sell products on their site. A lot of faulty products end up being sold on Amazon because many people do not return.

Love this bed!!! I’ve had extreme back pain for years. I’ve bought several mattresses over the years and nothing seemed to help my back…. Including Nectar and The Purple Mattress. Both mattresses worked for the first few months, then my back started to hurt again. I waited awhile before writing a review. I’ve had this waterbed for almost 2 years now. My back has seriously never felt better. It’s amazing what finding the perfect mattress can do. The only relief I use to get was sleeping on the couch or an elevated chair which was weird. (like a lazy boy with foot rest up). I’m so glad I gave this a try… the fact that there’s absolutely no pressure points cuz you’re basically just floating on water helps out so much with my back and my husbands shoulder. But this bed might not be for everyone. Some people have to have a firm mattress. But if you have back issues and you’ve tried several with no luck… try this!!! I have the free flow full wave.

Fill kit that was included was worthless, had to order an old style kit and use my garden hose. I would probably not purchase this again, but for a trial run it is probably going to do the job. I missed my 70's hard side water bed but couldn't find a frame or kit and wasn't going to pay huge sums to find out I couldn't sleep on it. If you know this is what you want spend the extra money to get a better design.

So far great bed, very hard to fill and get capped without losing lots of water. Water fill port definitely needs lots of work. No this is not my first waterbed, in fact it’s my 4 th.

I was concerned when I received the package, that not everything was included because of the size. In the past, the softside mattress was shipped differently but this was not the case with this product. My fears were unfounded as the mattress (top and bottom separate that would zip together) had been shrink wrapped and fit neatly into the box that held everything else. Installation was quick and easy. Quality product for the price.
