Storkcraft line of products uses mid grade, quality materials that holdup over years of continuous use. I purchased this unit and assembled it within 2 hours and realized that it wasn’t suitable for the height requirements that I needed. Make sure you check the dimensions, it’s much smaller than what the pictures show but still functions and looks great. If you need a toddler’s dresser I would recommend this as a more cost efficient option to a much higher costing unit. ... show more

First and foremost, I want to mention that when you order this dresser, please be advised that when it arrives it will weigh more than 70+ lbs. Besides that, I do want to mention that I was able to assemble this dresser by myself within about 3 - 3.5 hours by myself. The instructions are easy to follow and the dresser itself is beautiful, but be careful about assembly because it does scratch easily but we were able to cover the scratches with a black sharpie. It's easy to move along laminate floors, but the moment you get it onto carpet it's difficult. My son and I tried to move the dresser to his room and the back started to fall apart on me. Once my husband got home, we were able to fix the pieces that came out. Overall, I love the look of the dresser, I love that the dresser has a lock mechanism so you can lock the drawers. The black looks very sleek and very clean and the drawers are deeper than I was expecting them to be. ... show more

Very impressed by the quality but cannot understand why the actual depth of the drawers (4.25in) is less than half the length of the front panel (9in). Pay close attention to the product photos showing the drawer open - it is not nearly as deep as it looks when closed.
