I bought the velvet recliner cover over a year ago. It's been washed several times and still looks as good as when l first got it. I don't spend a lot of time smooting and tucking the material (my cat thinks the bolster thingys are toys and fishes them out with her claws 😻) but it looks great anyway. Now that I'm going to keep the dark grey couch in the living room, l decided to buy the couch cover in the same taupe to match the recliner. I also recently bought a second hand loveseat and because l have cats, l got a cover for it too! They don't look like Grandma's house - they're contemporary and sleek I don't write reviews often, but this product has proven itself, so l feel confident in buying more. The cover is decent. Fabric is stretchy and only because the color is almost the same as the cover on the sofa, I decided to keep it…Having said that, I measured prior to ordering and I feel it is the right size but I have never had such a hard time putting a cover on a piece of furniture as I did with this cover!!! It is for a recliner but has so much fabric on the sides and not enough in the seat area. In the end it’s ok but way too much work for what it is! ... show more

I was hesitant. however, I didn’t want to throw away my late father’s recliner chair, but the red was not going with my color scheme. I bought some measuring tape to make sure that my dimensions matched up with the summary description. I am so happy I bought it !!!!!! it was easy to install. I like how it had the back tabs on it so I knew where to put it. I love the velvet. It feels so good. The ivory color that I ordered matches perfect with my color scheme. This was well worth it. My old recliner looked awful has a huge tear in it but didn’t want to buy new furniture yet with pets/small children at home. This slipcover looks great and fit this Ashley furniture standard rocking recliner perfect. I don’t have a handle recliner, it’s a little switch under the right arm rest so it doesn’t fit the handle whole on the cover. I can still activate the recliner through the slip cover, just wasn’t something i thought about beforehand. Great cheap fix for an ugly chair! ... show more

Once I got it on, I determined that I would have to add some things to keep from having to tuck it in constantly. Mine didn’t come with anything to tie down the back cover so I had to order some bed garters. It doesn’t cover all the back, but thankfully no one see the back of the chair. I also added some rolled up annnd rubber banded magazines to stuff in the seat crevices to keep that snug. What came with it didn’t work well at all. But once I got all that done, I really like it. It looks more tailored than Inthought possible and dog hair is easily removed. The 4 stars is due to not have the garter come with it. ... show more

Decent instructions for use. Covered a big leather recliner. Stays on better than anything I’ve tried. I am pleased with it. I ordered taupe color. It says it is the taupe, but it has more of a lighter tone, but matches well enough. I would purchase again.
