These wicker baskets are sustainably made with renewable water hyacinth and provide a lovely natural touch to my home. They measure about 11.5" x 7.5" x 5.5" which are a little smaller than I would like but they can hold toilet paper, hand towels, and various other small items. The baskets also come with two handles on either side and feel very sturdy as the water hyacinth are woven over an iron frame. Overall, I think these baskets are very pretty and will go with most home decor palettes but I do wish they were slightly larger, especially since they looked much bigger online. ... show more

These baskets are tightly woven and feel thick. The second picture shows a close up of the reed edges in the design. These edges feel pliable right now but I don't know if they will harden up over time. For that reason, would not put anything delicate in these baskets in case it would snag the material. However, I really like the design of these baskets as they have a warm and welcoming look. The last picture shows 3 rolls of mega toilet paper in the largest basket. Yes, I measured before ordering, but these are a little smaller they seem in the pictures on site. So in my younger years I worked at pier one and we had the coolest selection of baskets. Sometimes when we would unbox them depending on what they were made of or how they were shipped they would stink. Needless to say I am very skeptical about purchasing baskets online because you just never know. Also- I’ve seen baskets this size in a set for a similar price at stores like Home Goods so the price is on point for the quality! I am also happy to report that these baskets have ZERO odor which makes me extremely happy. They are also insanely well constructed and sturdy. Love this set of 2 matching woven baskets! Could be used in a variety of ways - right now I am using them to store receipts but thinking of using them in the bathroom or kitchen pantry for storage. The built-in handles are a nice touch! The baskets are sturdy yet lightweight. They have no chemical odor. The woven material is not rough like many baskets of this type.
