I picked up the Traxxas 8940X Suspension Pin Set to replace the stock pins on my truck, and honestly it made a noticeable difference. The hardened steel feels way more durable than what came on there before, and I haven’t had any bending or wear even after a few pretty rough runs. Installation was simple enough — they dropped right in and fit perfectly with no fuss. What I really like is that I don’t have to worry about bending pins anymore every time I crash or land hard. They’re solid and seem like they’ll last a long time. The only thing I’ll say is that they’re a bit more expensive than basic pins, but for how tough they’ve proven to be, it’s worth it to me.     • Very nice pins. Need new suspension components for proper fit.
Highly recommend these Hardened Pins. Be ready to purchase all suspension components that have the threads from the stock threaded pins. There just isn't enough material in the threaded holes to have a nice tight fit. Can't blame this on the Hardened Pins though, they are a nice upgrade. Just want to let you know that all threaded suspension components will need to be new, never threaded in order for these pins to work properly. If your Maxx needs new A Arms & Front C Hubs then this would be the perfect time to upgrade to these pins. ... show more

Used to upgrade some parts on my XMAXX since I don’t have a local hobby store this worked perfect. Not all shafts will fit on XMAXX but a lot will.
