We’ve order two shoe cubbies and had to return them. FINALLY, we ordered this one and it worked beautifully. Ended up ordering a second one to go on top of the first one. It’s in the garage with all my husband’s shoes in it. I will say, his large tennis shoes have to have a cubby hole for each shoe, but that’s not a problem for us. We are just glad to have found something that is durable, stable and seems to be holding up great. We’ve had them about 4 months now. It’s very easy to assemble, too……I sent one back because of this problem.

UPDATE: We’ve now had the shoe organizer for a year and a half. We’ve now got ALL the slots filled with shoes. Some slots have two PAIRS of shoes in them (women's shoes). This is definitely a sturdy unit! I’ve not seen any tears, holes or rips on it. It’s in our hall closet by the back door, so it gets used a LOT. Shoes are going in and out of this thing on a daily basis, several times a day. If I ever needed another one, I’d buy this one again!! END EDIT. We’ve had this shoe organizer for a few days now. So far, I love it!! It’s sturdy. It’s compact and small. It was super easy to put together. It fits very nicely in our small coat closet. Some shoe organizers can only fit one SHOE per slot. This organizer can fit a PAIR of men’s size 12 shoes in a slot. I was so pleased to see how big the slots were. I was expecting them to be really small, thus limiting the pairs of shoes that can really be stored. The pockets on the sides are small, which I knew they would be. I can fit one sandal in a pocket. You can be creative though. Store your mittens, hats, scarves or other small accessories in them! The main selling point for me, was seeing other buyers’ photos of their organizer. I saw pairs of men’s shoes being stored in each slot and that’s what caught my attention. I want to get the most out of a shoe organizer! I was still nervous though, that the pictures were somehow deceptive. They weren’t. I’m attaching photos of our shoe organizer. Please note: This is used in our coat closet. Meaning, we keep limited amounts of shoes in there. I can’t vouch on the sturdiness of the unit if more shoes were being stored. But for what we have stored, it’s awesome!

This shoe storage was selected because each pair can have a place and they are not falling off a shelf or getting jumbled up. These are very sturdy and easy to put together. I have two in my closet and the tops are sturdy enough to act as a shelf for a purse, etc.

It is a sturdy shoe storage unit that is not too high or wide and yet it still keeps shoes separate decreasing closet clutter. The problem is the direction sheet that is too small to see the minute differences in the poles so that customers can put it together properly. I have carpeting in my closet so it didn’t matter that I didn’t match the top of each of the 4 outside poles and so it still works fine for me, but on a plain floor it would have made my effort tippy and unstable. I would have had to undo the whole thing and start over. So hence the 4 stars.

Needed an extra shoe cubby. It's very sturdy, looks nice where I put it. Must admit it took a lot of time to put it together by myself. All parts were included, but needed to support a rod with one hand & install connectors with the other. Balancing things was challenging at times, but succeeded getting the job completed. Would recommend having a helper if possible. I think the vendor was the same as a smaller cubby purchased some time ago. Both cubbies are VERY convenient, blend into space easily, very handy, not bulky like some other types. RECOMMENDED.

I love these! The instructions were straightforward and assembly did not take me long. The material is durable and they are so easy to move because they are lightweight! I have one for my shoes and one for my kids shoes and they fit everything without a problem. The top inevitably gets used for putting backpacks, etc. and there had been no sagging of the material. Easy to clean too!
