UPDATE: We’ve now had the shoe organizer for a year and a half. We’ve now got ALL the slots filled with shoes. Some slots have two PAIRS of shoes in them (women's shoes). This is definitely a sturdy unit! I’ve not seen any tears, holes or rips on it. It’s in our hall closet by the back door, so it gets used a LOT. Shoes are going in and out of this thing on a daily basis, several times a day. If I ever needed another one, I’d buy this one again!! END EDIT. We’ve had this shoe organizer for a few days now. So far, I love it!! It’s sturdy. It’s compact and small. It was super easy to put together. It fits very nicely in our small coat closet. Some shoe organizers can only fit one SHOE per slot. This organizer can fit a PAIR of men’s size 12 shoes in a slot. I was so pleased to see how big the slots were. I was expecting them to be really small, thus limiting the pairs of shoes that can really be stored. The pockets on the sides are small, which I knew they would be. I can fit one sandal in a pocket. You can be creative though. Store your mittens, hats, scarves or other small accessories in them! The main selling point for me, was seeing other buyers’ photos of their organizer. I saw pairs of men’s shoes being stored in each slot and that’s what caught my attention. I want to get the most out of a shoe organizer! I was still nervous though, that the pictures were somehow deceptive. They weren’t. I’m attaching photos of our shoe organizer. Please note: This is used in our coat closet. Meaning, we keep limited amounts of shoes in there. I can’t vouch on the sturdiness of the unit if more shoes were being stored. But for what we have stored, it’s awesome!

Bought this shoe rack to set in my closet for easy view and access to shoes. Unlike others I have purchased, I was able to assemble this item by myself - very easy. Each cubby easily holds a pair of most shoes.

I purchased this shoe rack because I wanted something that would stand tall in our small bedroom closet instead of taking up all the floor space like traditional shoe racks. I wear a women's size 9 and my fiance wears a men's size 13 and I can fit all of our shoes comfortably in the unit, including a pair of ankle-height booties. The pockets on the sides are perfect for sandals or slippers and there is just enough room between the top of the unit and the bottom of the closet shelf that I was able to place a small basket there for hats and gloves. I was surprised at how sturdy this unit seems to be, since I have used cloth shoe storage before and it never seems to last very long. The material is thick and the bottom shelf is reinforced with cardboard. The metal frame was easy to assemble, but you will need to have a phillips head screwdriver handy to put it together. Also, the assembly instructions make it look like you should be receiving more packets of materials than you do, but some of the parts came with the screws and washers already attached (meaning I had to disassemble those parts and then reassemble them with the rest of the frame). Overall, I think this product suits our needs perfectly and I would recommend it to anyone working with narrow closet spaces.

I needed something that would fit in a small space and was vertical. This is it! I love that it has pockets on the sides too for flip flops. Easy to put together, color doesn't show dirt. I'm glad I found this product!

Gently used this product with kids shoes and lightweight shoes, and within a few weeks some of the stitching started to pull loose. After a few months a lot of the stitching has pulled loose and the tubes that give the front of the cubbies structure are coming out. I have tried safety pinning everything together but it's not holding. Really disappointed because this held more shoes than other similar options, but my slightly smaller one held up over 4 years of use and this one didn't even last 4 months. Also wasn't given an option to reach out to the company through my purchases, so I don't even know if there is anything they will do if you get a defective product.
