They are lightweight yet sturdy and definitely child and fool proof! It's quite easy to set up your "finger password" and once it's locked, IT'S LOCKED. Not a safe! No more complaining about it not being secure enough, if you use as intended, this is a must for concealed carry or any pistol owner. The recommended padlocks are amazing. Compact will hold a hellcat pro and an extra mag.

I got the sale (2 for 1) with no regrets. our .45, 9mm, or whatever pistol we secure in the Stopbox. There's no sliding in the "box" with either the weapon or the magazines. I'm telling everyone I know about my Stopbox and how easy it is to use.

    • Good Concept but Real World Drawbacks

I purchased the 2 pack, Full Size and Compact. I watched the ads and thought this is a great idea. After receiving it my mind changed somewhat. It appeared to be well built, the access buttons worked as described, but using it was a bit of an issue. The ads and the paperwork said to practice with it, which I did and it worked but I feel the code can be cracked easily as there is just so many combos that can be customized. What I didn't like was the fact this may not work in the real world. This case must be laying flat for it to work properly. In the real world a flat surface may not be available as it is very difficult to open if held upright, which is a very strong possibility. I did not like the thin foam on the interior as it is glued down and will rip, it felt very thin and cheap. The construction is ok, it should have more metal around the edges. If you want to use the cable that can be purchased separately it will simply break the plastic, that's right, no metal where the cable locks in, just plastic and it will snap right off. The interior space is compromised by the locking mechanism, it takes up a lot of room. Doesn't look like much in the images but storage is really reduced by this. I hope improvements are made to the StopBox, but as of right now it's not for me. You may feel differently but I didn't feel this will work in a real world environment. ... show more

    • This Is Safety for your Kids
So the idea is on this product you allow yourself accessibility to a fire arm quickly, while at the same time protecting your kids from their curiosity and it accomplishes both. The spring strength of the buttons are high enough it's a challenge for young kids to press one button down let alone a pattern of buttons across an adult's size finger/hand pattern. Unless you have it magically locked down to a piece of furniture or the floor a thief will be leaving with the case. Bolt cutters/heavy wire cutters will free it up. The premise is simple quick access while keeping young kids safe and its FAA approved for travel to ccw reciprocity states a win for my family. ... show more
