I searched the internet high and low for stoneware dinnerware looking for a quality brand. Stone Lain kept coming up with good reviews so I bought 2 sets online. You never know what you’re getting if you order online but I chanced it based upon the reviews. I am amazed at the quality of what I received. First of all, the Packaging was so sturdy that there is no way for damage during shipment. The set includes a “pasta bowl” that I often use as a big salad bowl, so that was very useful. The pieces are heavy but not TOO heavy. It is a Beautiful set with a very modern flair— the style seems to be what everyone is searching for today. It is manufactured by a Canadian company and if I’m not mistaken it is produced in New York. No cheap goods From China for me…. I’m always looking for goods produced in the USA.🇺🇸 Thanks ... show more

We have had these dishes for 6 months and they are holding up well. We use these everyday, they do well in the dishwasher and not a single scratch from use or the dishwasher. We love the color as well!

We like the overall green glaze on this set, and especially the size/shape of the salad/pasta bowls. The pieces feel sturdy, stack well, and are dishwasher/microwave safe. But the rims are left unglazed, which on this green set means a pinkish edge shows through. I don’t love the contrast, and more importantly, the edge is abrasive to the touch. On plates it’s fine, but when drinking from a bowl you really notice the rough finish. It’s usable and looks nice on the table, but the unfinished rims make the set feel rushed. I may try smoothing them myself with fine sandpaper - but I wish that had been done in production. If you like the rustic contrast and don’t mind a rough edge, this could work for you. If you prefer a smoother, more polished finish, you might want to look elsewhere. ... show more
