First of all I want to start by saying that I never leave reviews. In fact this might be the first ever. I read all reviews on this product. After a little hesitation from some of the bad reviews I still decided to give them a try. I am SO happy that I did. Yes the bowls are on the smaller side, I read that in reviews and was ok with that. They ended up being a perfect size for us. They are heavy. They are smooth. The unpainted bottoms are rough and I was afraid to stack them and cause scratching, but I don’t have a lot of cupboard space so I did anyways and zero damage so far. The color is fantastic. I have had ZERO problems with scratching/chipping. I have hand washed and put in dishwasher. Still look brand new. I use metal utensils, no marks of any kind. And I have 3 teenagers eating on them as well. People that complain of knife marks must be trying to cut into the plates because these are hard to scratch. Upon delivery 1 salad bowl had a small chip on the bottom. I went to the company website and requested a replacement. NO questions asked they first class shipped me a new bowl right away and gave me a coupon to shop with them again. Fantastic customer service. I highly recommend. Simple, and beautiful. These dishes are a great size and seem well made. Comfortable to use, and easy to wash. I got 2 sets and they were packed well and arrived in great shape.

I bought 2 boxes to have service for 8. Both boxes arrived, were packed very well and nothing was broken. They stack nice and even. The large bowl I use the most. The small bows are perfect for cereal or ice cream. The lunch dish is a good size for a sandwich and a side. I display them on my open shelving in my kitchen proudly. The are a subtle light green. perfect if you love coastal. They are dishwasher and microwave safe - although they do retain heat from the microwave. I'm very happy with these. ... show more

The good: Beautiful colors; handmade look Lovely stone Easy to clean The bad: Numerous bumps or uneven spots on surface. This is the one star loss. Paint is soft - scratches easily with normal use. Can't withstand metal cutlery friction at all. Bummer. Food surfaces of plates will look awful within a few months if you cut food on them. ... show more

The green ones are beautiful. They have a matt finish and look rustic. They look like a bit handmade cause they have some unevenness to it. I e the lines on the borders etc. one of my plates was a little damaged. Amazon took care of it. I have now a set for 8 but will buy more to suit 12 people. These are beautiful in shape and colors. Problem is the dark blue dishes appeared scratched just from nesting. I had to return them all. The green was most beautiful, the rim color very nice addition.

We bought 2 sets of this stoneware, first time in over 15 years we had considered replacing some excellent dinnerware. The color and quality out of the box, a very well shipped and protected box, for both of them was outstanding. We had a few dinner guests, parties and used in the first 50 days and noticed that four or five pieces were showing wear and tear. Sent pictures and communication with the manufacturer was great, slow but received. They gave us solutions and we are very happy.
