The size and shape of these 3" aluminum pans is perfect for baking individual tarts/pies. This size has been purchased previously. Unfortunately, the other brand was not as thick. Their use was wasteful as 2 pans was always needed to hold any contents. A special favorite use of these small pans is to warm leftovers in the oven after they are placed onto a larger oven safe item: they work well for small amounts of food. The edges are crimped, but smooth and even. I would have given 4 stars if the package had not arrived with some minor damage to a few of the pans. With the package containing 50 pans, the quantity left is still ample. ... show more
