I was looking for very warm pants with a lower leg zipper , so as to accommodate easy , quick access to a bladder appliance for my husband . Darn near impossible . I found hope in researching "snow boarding pants", but not all of them have the lower leg zippers any more most have moved to elastic. These pants are well lined and very warm for NE weather. They have the lower leg zippers and high quality not flimsy. They come in an abundance of color and are cut and fit very much like dress pants, plus all the snow boarding extras. Now my husband can wear pants that fit well, don't make him look like he is in sports wear all the time or PJs. I bought 3 pairs and highly recommend them and would most certainly buy again. He wears and depends them like most men wear jeans or dress slacks ! These are so much more than snow boarding/Trail pants . Real asset to men with a bladder appliance !

Bought these for my uber-picky BF for Christmas. He's been trying a ton of higher-priced brands (OR, Patagonia, REI) and never happy. Honestly, because I think he pays so much, they have to fit so perfectly. I got him these so we can get out on our snowshoes and he can be warm. I bought them a waist size bigger (which he never does) so they fit easily over his long johns and it was great to have the choice of inseam sizes. So they fit perfectly for snowshoeing. I can see why these would not work for snowboarding or skiing because of the leg opening, but they are fine for wearing snow boots or hiking boots, like we do. They are thicker than the ones he has been looking at, but It's better to have the thing that works, vs searching forever for a unicorn!!! Quality-wise (former REI employee here) they seem solid. Lots of pockets, good zipper grips for use with gloves. He doesn't like the belt, but he can switch that out. I think the value for what you get here is solid. These will do the job for snow and precipitation that we get here in the NW.

Thank for having this wonderful product, love the wind proofing of this product as I live in ND-USA. It can get pretty windy and cold during the winter months. These pants are perfect for ND winters. Comfortable to wear inside and outdoors.

Nice and slim look. My son was able to move around well in them, but very warm and waterproof. Quality equals an expensive ski pant. Like that the belt is removable. Son loved the multiple zippered pockets where he could put his phone 4_wheeling and ability to,sit with it secure and dry in thigh pocket.

10/10 - excellent pants. So slim and sleek, super comfortable, with enough stretch and give to let you move naturally all day long. In fact, when we came in fromn the snow, I kept them on all day and evening, through dinner and game night, because they're as comfortable as a pair of jeans - all while being perfectly water and weather proof. Holy Moly. 1st- The side Pockets. I’m a waiter & we use handheld tablets to take orders & process payments & I hate having to stuff it in my Apron which makes it sag. The side pockets are bomb. 2nd- The sound…or lack of. It made me worried when I heard some little scratchies when I first began walking in these. But the pants don’t always make that sound (and yes, it’s all dependent on your stride & how you’re walking). Working in a restaurant that can be quiet, I never notice a sound from the fabric rubbing together. 3rd- The Warmth. I don’t drive. I choose to ride my mountain bike year round. I don’t have a second thought leaving my house wearing these bad boys when it comes to hitting the cold weather. Yeah, when it gets a little colder this year I may throw on some thermals underneath. But by themselves, they are Waaaaaaay better than cotton jeans.
