I ordered this Stix UTI Test Kit that contains 3 seperate tests, because I'm going through menopause. That can throw your Ph levels way off which can lead to issues. So I took a UTI test from this box of three tonight, and I want to share the procedure and results in my review. Please see my detailed pictures. First of all, it's very easy to use this test. It's a two step test strip that has a large thumb pad to hold securely, and it's very sturdy. The strip has two felt squares attached to the dipstick portion. The felt is already impregnated with the chemical mediums, so you don't need to mix anything together. All you need to do is hold the dipstick by the thumbpad and keep the felt squares in the stream of urine for a second to saturate them, or if you prefer, use a glass container to capture some urine to test with when you use the bathroom. I opted to use a glass container. Then you dip the stick with the felt pads into the urine for one minute. After waiting one minute, compare the bottom test pad to the color chart, and note your color reading. Then you can proceed to the next reading on the top pad after waiting an additional one minute more, then quickly compare to the chart. The top leukocytes test will oxidize quickly and start to degrade into a darker color, so try to work quickly so you get an accurate color reading. On my test, by the time I realized I should take a picture, my result was darkening a bit, so that's why I'm making the point to work quickly so you don't get a false positive. I do feel this is a very good first step to control your feminine health. However, it's not a substitute for a doctor, so if you see a positive result, you should get checked out by a doctor or clinic. But in the meantime, if things are just a little "off", this test is going to be very helpful. When things with me are "off" I always step up the dosages on my supplements such as apple cider vinegar pills, D-mannose pills, and cranberry extract pills. All of which are available on Amazon.     • Useful screening for urinary symptoms
These test strips are super useful to see if further testing and/or a clinic visit is needed for urinary symptoms. 3 individually wrapped tests and 3 sets of cleansing wipes are included in the box. The strips test for leukocytes (white blood cells) and nitrates which help determine if bacteria are present. The strips have an expiration date of 5-1-2024. I haven't had a chance to test them so I don't know how sensitive these strips are, but still this is something convenient to have on hand. ... show more

I used these test strips to screen prior to an appointment and they seem pretty accurate. Will continue to use these in place of the usual test strips I purchase and hope to see continued good results.

The media could not be loaded. The test was easy to use but results for myself were a little unclear as the test for the leukocytes was a little difficult to distinguish between a Negative and Trace result because the colors are so close, resulting in me having to use two of the three tests. Therefore my recommendation would be to test in the morning for the most accurate results. Additionally it's super important to review your results within the time period stated on the test as they do change over time and you may receive a false positive. Overall, the testing was easy to complete and you received results within 2 minutes instead of waiting to hear from a doctor's office. ... show more

    • Easy to use but time sensitive
These are easy to use but as other reviewers mentioned, you have to work quickly or the color will change and you could get a false result. I’ve been prone to UTI’s since I was a kid so I know the symptoms well. But I’m also diabetic and when my blood sugar gets out of whack, it can also cause frequent urination.
