I have been sewing for a long time. I have been doing less sewing as I get older and thought this little sewing machine was going to be perfect. STOP! 🛑 The reviews seem to indicate that it was ideal for first time sewers…. If I started out with this sewing machine I would never had continued sewing. This is the worst, most frustrating, difficult sewing machine for anyone!!! When I finally got it threaded (took forever since you have to manually thread it with a sewing needle threader which you need to put through the back of the needle which is so difficult to see); it stitched fine but does NOT go through 5 layers of denim. The needle gets jammed on two pieces of fabric with thin foam in between. I tried the twin needles. I was now getting excited until I wanted to do a zigzag! JAMMED! This is a hunk of junk. For about $30-$40 dollars more you can get an entry level singer. It will save you from thinking sewing machines are antiquated because this one has nothing to offer except frustration! What should have taken me 10 minutes (a simple scrunchie) one piece of fabric and elastic took an hour. I will buy a real sewing machine. The old saying is true… you get what you pay for.

It is as described - pretty small, which makes it very useful if you need to fix some things at home.I would say it is pretty good for this price and does what’s expected.

I only just received it so I don't have any long term experience with it's durability but I have run some test runs and the results were perfect for my needs. adjusting the tension as indicated for denim I folded a pair of my jean's pant legs and stitched a nice hem without any issues: that's the thickest I will ever need so I didn't test further on how thick it can handle. I got some lighter weight cotton fabric and ran through the rest of the stitches after adjusting the tension again for the lighter material I again had no issues. I've taken off one point for the peddle: if someone were to accidentally step on it as they walked by with shoes, I'm certain it will crack into pieces. I plan to only set it on the floor when using and only use with socked foot , not shoes, to better be aware of how hard lm pressing. I will only need it for occasional use so I appreciate that the smaller size makes it easier to store away.

Like other reviews here - I thought this machine was great for sewing beginners, which I am. This machine jams ALL the time, and the thread spool kept getting either completely knotted underneath where it is seated or actually got pulled/launched off the machine altogether (even after troubleshooting tension issues, and with multiple types of fabric) I got a new sewing machine, and the first thing I said to my partner is that using this one felt like trying to use a wiffle bat for Major League Baseball. Don’t waste your money.

Terrible sewing machine. The top stich is fine but when I turned the shirt over the bottom stich was terrible. Jams very easily. I will be returning this sewing machine
