I got this as my first sewing machine. Setting it up took me about 20 minutes. The instructions were clear. It didn't take me much effort figuring out how to thread it. The bobbin winds smoothly. The stitches are neat. Moreover, it has a speed control slider, that’s been helpful for me as a beginner. Otherwise, I would have difficulty sewing curves. The media could not be loaded. I like this sewing machine. It comes with many accessories including threads, scissors, pins and fabric which makes starting projects easy. The 12 stitch patterns are very useful for different sewing tasks. It handles light fabrics and heavier materials like denim smoothly. The reverse function works well for backstitching. The machine runs quietly and does not shake during use. It is also compact and does not take much space on my table. A small issue is that threading the needles can be tricky at first but it is manageable. Overall, this is a good quality machine for beginners and hobbyists.
