First let me say the step by step instructions are amazing. I got the radio and the kit for Christmas. I was nervous when I saw all the wires and parts. The. I saw the booklet of instructions and was like I can do this!! Once installed the screen is bigger than I expected. The sound quality is really good too! I needed this stereo so bad. My old one didn't start half the time, and when it did, sometimes the steering controls would work and sometimes they wouldn't. I'm also getting older and it was hard to see my speedometer. This stereo made everything better. It wirelessly hooks to apple car play, or I can use the cable, it shows the speedometer, if I want it too, and the screen is so big, I don't have any problems seeing the map anymore. I love, love, love this thing. My husband installed it in our 2012 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and it is a perfect fit.

I installed the Stinger Heigh10 stereo unit, a stinger, five channel amp, and a stinger tailgate sub. Wow! What an upgrade to my factory system. The stinger head unit gives me information. I wouldn’t otherwise have based on the current gauges in my jeep. I can take the top off, crank the stereo and it sounds amazing! I highly recommend stinger products. They may be a little pricey, but I feel like I got what I paid for.

First thing I’d like to say is that the quality of the radio is excellent physically with the software they have put in they’ve done some mighty strange things when you do an update on the firmware on the radio itself. There are different components one will do upgrades on the actual software on the screen and then you also have to upgrade a different component and the radio, which means you have to pull the radio out. Once you do an upgrade you lose all the information that you put in it so you have to spend the next hour and a half putting in all your channels, your specs everything that you wanna do you lose it all they could’ve made it so you didn’t. It does work perfectly through your steering control. I also ordered the side cameras from stinger they do fit in there nicely. The quality is not exactly great. I would have liked to upgraded to the 10 height plus but it did not have SiriusXM why I can’t imagine because it had a higher quality pixel screen cost 300 bucks more but without XM it’s a no sale you can put I go GPS navigation that’s an extra $179 but Amazon did not send me the latest 22 upgrade so now I have to tear the whole Radio out and figure out how to do it by going to Igo site and you are allowed one free upgrade but it’s a pain in the butt when you’re putting the radio in, they say that the JK has lots of room compared to other models, but I spent like three hours trying to get it in there so I could do up the bolts it is extremely tight. Apple CarPlay is a USB plug into your phone. It is not wireless again. I would’ve went to the high 10+ because it is wireless, but it doesn’t have XM overall the quality of the actual components seems well-made. The side cameras are not very sharp, but they do work. They do switch with signal light turning you better have a slight clue what you’re doing because they can get confusing at times. They do have a lot of videos online and you have to go through a lot of them. There’s a lot of nice features on the radio but overall they could’ve made it even nicer because you’re paying a lot of money here I have phoned the stinger Hot Line a number of times they always got back to me within an hour or two some of the guys talking were very helpful and knew what they were talking about and there’s some that I probably knew more than they did, but they were polite and helpful putting the final screen on the dash can be real fun took me about an hour and a half pushing without trying to break the screen to finally get something started on there very very very tight fit. This thing would’ve fixed some of these little quirks, it would’ve been absolutely a five but somebody cheated out in the final minutes

First off I paid 1600 dollars for this POS and when it arrived it didn’t have all the functions that it was supposed to. Contacted the company and was told I needed to install a flash drive with an update. ( Not what I paid for. Now here it is 2 years down the road the screen and controls won’t even work. What a waste of money and time. Do not waste 1 penny on this product.

The media could not be loaded. Definitely worth the integration unit!!! While installing the back up camera I couldn’t never get it to automatically come on. Waited till a day off where I could figure out and do some research on it how to fix that. It was a setting thru the unit settings for cameras. A lot of YouTube videos posted on this unit. I love the fact that the sound is so clear. I also love the unit it self’s. Sucks that for gps has a sd card that is separately purchased. I brought before Black Friday and wish I would have waited for the sale that I didn’t know about. Could have gotten the upgraded version of it where it’s wireless connect for apple play. But I’m not complaining cause Bluetooth works just fine. I also love the fact that after I did a unit firmware upgrade. A rgb app pop up to control your rock lights. Don’t hesitate on this buy. Definitely worth it. If unsure go look on TikTok and YouTube like I did. Also the video install instructions are better than the booklet instructions.

Just received and installed this stereo today in my 2013 wrangler jk. Install was fairly simple just make sure you stick to the instructions very carefully. I had an issue with the apple car play not working and the usb connections were in the wrong ports and good luck trying to uninstall this thing after it is installed. Here’s another note for anyone looking to get it for CarPlay. THIS DOESNT HAVE WIRELESS CARPLAY!!!! I’m sorry stinger but I’m disappointed in spending $1000 on a stereo, especially one this nice, and it not have wireless CarPlay. REALLY WHAT WERE YOU THINKING! Other than this compliant it is working fine for the moment and I’ve check out a lot of the features so far. Unit does not stutter or freeze. Definitely high quality materials and tech but again the CarPlay thing. Honestly the screen is hugeeeee especially in a jk but it’s realllyyyy nice to have.
