Great quality, the entire kit is plug and play, all of the modules and harnesses are great quality, the screen resolution is like an HD TV. The operating system is smooth and the touch screen is smooth. The trim kit makes it look OEM. It also woke my aftermarket system up and I still retained all of the factory features. There is also a feature to turn off the auto start stop so you don’t have to buy the delete for it. The rear camera has a wider view and is HD. Blows the 8.4 Uconnect out of the water. Plus there is wireless CarPlay. Hop in, start jeep and boom, my apple carplay is there. No more wires. Worth the money.

They will steal your money!!!!

I am highly disappointed with this company. They don’t even deserve one star. I paid over $1,600 for the Stinger Horizon 10 for my Jeep Gladiator, unfortunately, the stereo system itself did not work. According to the installers, the module was a bad module. This was not only reported to Stinger customer service and there warranty department by me. In fact, the installers also notified stingers customer service department and warranty department as well. After all this and I returned the stereo where I was told I would be given a 100% refund, due to the product being a dud and I would receive a full refund. Instead, I was lied to. I was sent an email saying a refund has been denied and would not be issues because the system was not working. Of course it was not working, hence why we notified your customer service department and warranty department due to the numerous issues we were having with the stereo your store sent us and told me I would be refunded once you received the item back, instead, you send me an email denying me a $1,600 refund. What is highly upsetting is I believed in this company, wanted to stand by their product because it seemed to me they were doing all the right things and truly cared. So, instead of purchasing from a different brand, I purchased the same stinger stereo and prayed this one would work. Which it did! It is currently in my truck and works great. However, why I am so upset is basically, I paid $2,800 for 1 stereo. I paid for the new Horizon 10 because the 1st was a dud and I paid for the 2nd one which is installed in my truck. This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE and STINGER is WORST PLACE EVER!!! It is absolutely terrible. They send me a broken product and then steal all your money, even though I stayed loyal and purchase the exact same stereo previously. STAY AWAY FROM STINGER, THEY Don’t CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, THEY CARE ABOUT STEALING YOUR MONEY AND NEVER REIMBURSING YOU. Thank you Stinger for making me pay $1,600 for a Stereo that Did not work and the paying for the same stereo because I though being loyal to the company’s you trust will show you that same loyalty. All your company showed to be is your are not Loyal to Your Customers, you are just thrives.

Good concept, but needs refinement in the software.

The radio is a good radio, but there are a few key functions that are missing that is standard with most radios. When listening to a source other than Apple Car Play (such as a radio station), but displaying a Car Play screen (such as a map), if you answer a phone call after you complete the call and hang up, the audio does not return to what you were listening to before the call. You have to leave Car Play, select the audio source you were previously listening to, start the media again, then return to Car Play to show the map again. Usually takes 8-9 taps to get back to where you were before the call. Called Stinger tech support - this is not a feature that is planned to be implemented. If you use the Stinger Dual Blind Spot Side View Camera Kit, it is designed to integrate directly with this radio. When the turn signal is activated, the screen will go blank immediately, but the image doesn't show up for 4-5 seconds. If you use the tap "lane change" feature on your turn signals (where it only flashes 3 times), the screen will go blank but then return to the radio screen before the camera image shows up. Called Stinger tech support - this is known operation and there is currently no plan to fix. If you move to a new location and want to update your radio presets, if you have less preset stations than before there is no way to erase the extra preset stations without doing a master reset to the radio. If you have customized the interface, you will have to reconfigure the entire radio after the reset. Called Stinger tech support - there is no plan to update the software to add this functionality.

Could come prewired...

Honestly I've only had this unit for 1 day. I did have the heigh10 for about 8 months in an older jeep and this is a much needed upgrade! Quite a few features like the wireless carplay are nice especially because of how the factory jeep radios treat the aftermarket carplay boxes draining your battery. The backup camera module being relocated is a nice addition because it allows for easier addons like a Roku or even my switch. My one complain is that this unit could come preassembled and wired up... they make these kits for specific vehicles already so i don't understand why they cant assemble them making the install much smoother. For me it was no problem to install as i like to tinker and experiment with radios and such but for someone unexperienced this would be a nightmare! Heck even charge an extra preassembly fee with most of the options not being used by most people they can significantly reduce the excess of cables that need managed. I do with they would bring back iPod functionality instead of only being able to use Bluetooth or carplay which i know is still not bad. The screen is not as sharp as the factory 7 or 8.4 but is still a nice upgrade especially coming from the 5 with single zone manual climate. Stinger also need to slow down their videos and explain certain connections and what they are for not just saying plug this here and this there and 5 seconds later moving to the next harness.

I have had this unit for 8 months and it has been nothing but problems. I paid $1489.94 and $400 to have it professionally installed. It is not an easy install at all even for a professional. The phone connection quality has been terrible. I ended up having to use a headset, which jumps in and out of Bluetooth randomly. The camera screen works sometimes. Now the volume set itself to loud and won't adjust. Stay away from this thing. Amazon is giving me a refund, but I am out for the install and now removal. It gets 1 star because it looked nice.

Just installed the Horizon10. I'm really enjoying the features and sound quality. Watch Stinger's JL installation video. It was very easy to follow. The printed version is not detailed enough.

Solid hardware. Software is so-so. Price is a little high. Would be good priced around $1,000.

Nice screen. Easy install. Great hardware integrated OEM controls without a fuss. Wish this was open android software that allowed app installs like the cartrimhome units do. The iGo nav was a bust. I purchased the iGo nav sd card and after installing it and opening the nav it says file missing.
