Good jacket, relatively lightweight so it doesn't get as hot, but let's face it, any beekeeping suit or jacket is going to be really hot in the summer. Overall, its pretty comfortable as an everyday-wear keeper jacket. Veil allows for really good visibility, hat keeps the direct sun out of your face during inspections. The dome of the veil is a little on the smaller side and doesn't fit my head very well, so excessive bending can cause it to come dislodged and flop to a side in some instances. However, this is often my own fault more often than the suit. Sleeves have Velcro cinch at the cuffs to keep bees from finding a way up your sleeves...just don't forget to tighten them down. Can go over or under gloves of your choice. Works fine over the top of latex gloves, can be difficult to go over/under some of the 1/4 or 1/2 arm length gauntlet gloves, but pretty much impenetrable once you do. Plastic zippers around both left and right sides of the neck, under the veil as well as the main zipper up the front of the jacket. All zippers converge and are covered by a Velcro flap. However - make 100% you get the zippers secured. If not, the plastic zippers can work their way 'loose' a little bit with normal movement over an 1-2 hours, and bees can find their way in, if they're so inclined. (Ask me how I know). Just take the extra few seconds to make sure the zippers are well secured. Machine washing works pretty well using cold water. Just allow it to air dry.

This bee jacket is an excellent value. I am 5'8" and 160 lbs and the large fit me fine (some extra room but nothing to get in a twist about). The jacket is a nice weight cotton with strong elastic waist and cuffs. The veil zips on easily and securely. It gives me nice visibility and is cooler than a full bee suit. You cannot beat this quality for the price! Very happy with my purchase!

This jacket is like a summer cloth coat with elastic around the wrists and waist, plus the hat. The hat with veil will keep bees and wasps away from exposed skin around the head. The jacket might keep a bee from stinging but adding a sweatshirt underneath would be a good idea for wasp protection. I would use this to as a back-up when you don't expect to get stung (e.g. knocking down a nest) but not for regular use around aggressive bees/wasps (e.g. removing Africanized bees). I typically use XL T-shirts that fit me loosely but a little long, and this jacket in XL fit me perfectly.

Probably best for the price. Didn’t use it for beekeeping though; I wore it for greenhead fly protection in a marsh and they couldn’t get through it, though many dozens tried. The downside is that it’s hard to zip and unzip, which is why I prefer a different veil that I have instead.

I really like this bee jacket. It is a nice cool white color (calming to bees), it is breathable, great quality and protected me when a few were a little upset with their hive inspection. No complaints, zippers worked well and sizing is good too. Nice length in sleeves and overall length was ample as well. Would buy this brand again without hesitation, pricing was good and quality great.
