I’m not sure what inspired me, but even though I’m not an artist and don’t really know how to draw, I decided to pick up this set and try doing a few tattoos on myself. I went into it with zero experience, so I was definitely looking for something beginner-friendly—and this kit delivered. The tattoo machine works really well for the price, especially if you’re just starting out and learning the basics. It’s easy to handle, not too intimidating, and gets the job done while you’re figuring things out. I’ve mainly been practicing and getting a feel for control, and it’s been a solid tool for that. That said, I personally wouldn’t recommend using the included ink on your skin. It’s fine for practicing on fake skin, but if you’re planning to tattoo yourself or anyone else, I’d suggest investing in higher-quality ink for safety and better results. Overall, for the price, this kit is hard to beat. It’s a great starter option if you’re curious about tattooing and want to practice without spending a ton upfront. I was surprisingly impressed at the quality of this little set. My son asked for it for his 17th birthday wanting to learn how to tattoo, but mostly we got it just for fun. All of the items it comes with seem to be very high quality the gun included. And the amount of items you get for your money is outstanding. My only warning would be the fake skin that comes with the set is incredibly thin and I would suggest buying a set of fake skin separately that's thicker and better quality. Other than that, I definitely recommend this to any beginning artist who's just wanting to get a sense of how the process works and practice. It's worth every penny. ... show more
