UPDATE: I now have had this jacket for nearly two years and it’s made it through some bad weather. It’s still like new (even after numerous trips to the mountains, snowball fights and lots of sledding & falling) , super warm and incredibly comfortable. I feel like a warm burrito whenever I wear it and it’s wonderful. I highly suggest purchasing it. So worth the value and you’ll have it for years to come. Mine is now much bigger, but it’s great because I can layer comfortably and not feel bulky. It looks amazing closed and open, I cannot recommend it enough. I LOVE LOVE this jacket. It's roomy, warm and incredibly comfortable. I bought the medium and have more than enough space to wear a thick sweater and there's still room. I bought the green and it's gorgeous, it has snap closures in the front for the jacket to expand and inside the pockets for extra security. With the rainy weather, ice and snow we've been getting here in the NW it's been such a life saver. I like that it's waterproof and yet very stylish, I'm 5'1 and it falls around my hips which is perfect. I highly recommend this jacket, I will be buying the other colors as the weather changes here. Very well made, it's comfortable, stylish and warm. I recommend buying a medium if you typically use a large, I have broad shoulders and muscular arms and it fits loosely. ... show more

I ordered a small, but I received a large. The replacement arrived quickly...but it had an incredibly strong mildew odor. The fit was good, but the smell was over-powering. A new item should not smell like it has spent a year in a mildew and mold infested closet!

Zipper feels cheap, honestly could break at any minute. I am usually in between a M and L, 38 inch bust. I got a L fits great, but could have fit into a M too. EDIT: Soaked coat in vinager for 1 hour and I washed it. It helped it smell less, but still smells. Should have just returned. I have never bought something I have hated to mush.
