Love this coat! I live in the south but needed a big coat for visiting family up north. I've tried to find a coat with no success for so long because I'm short (5'0") and curvy petite they never fit right and are uncomfortable when zipped or layered underneath. I wanted the "it" jacket that looks like this on Amazon but didn't want to pay that much so I stumbled across this Steve Madden version. It fits perfectly, even being short it's cute and not overtaking my frame. It's extremely warm. I love the Ippers and ability to expand the sides, I don't need to though which makes one feel good about themselves and their wide hips. It has a ton of pockets as well which I love. I did have a small pop in the hem of the bottom back of the coat when I got home but it was a quick fix. This coat also washes well and goes in the washer and dryer. We have had temps in the 20's this week. I had a chance to try this coat out and find it very warm and comfortable. I am 5 feet even and the back of coat covers me down to my knees which keeps my back and upper legs warm. The pockets are very deep so I won't lose phone, keys etc on my walks. The hood is warm up around my neck but is a bit bulkier than I'm used to due to the fleece lining. I wish it would lie flat on back but nothing I would deduct a star for. The zippers all work well and are metal vs. some jackets that come now with plastic type ones. The extended ribbed cuffs keep the cold from going up my arms. Overall good purchase. I'm hopeful when colder here in northern MA it will keep me warm. ... show more

It fits large. I’m 5’8” & 170# with 38D chest. I could’ve gotten a medium and it would’ve fit, but I liked the roominess for layering bulky sweaters and shirts. It is very warm and blocks wind great. I purchased this for a trip to Boston. I hadn’t had an opportunity to wear it before the return window closed so I am stuck with this coat that has broken snaps. The snaps are mostly arbitrary, but I prefer my new items to not rip within the first few times I wear them. ... show more

This is an incredible coat! Granted, I haven't yet worn it in real winter weather but I will soon enough. For now, it is super cozy and have a plethora of pockets. Hoping I don't have the zipper issues others have but so far so good. Will update if it doesn't keep me warm in a western NY winter.

Almost everything about this coat was exactly what I was looking for. Super warm and cozy. However, the zipper is terrible. I got the coat and was so excited and on my very first wear, the zipper broke. Exchanged for a new one and the exact same thing happened. The bottom tooth on the zipper is so poorly put together. My daughters are super picky and usually hate anything I buy for them. But not these coats! I got them each the same black coat for a December trip to NYC where the temps were very cold- and they were so happy I did! They said they kept them very warm and comfortable- one of them didn't even remove her coat on the plane! These were a great value and I highly recommend them if you need a warm winter coat.
